Story
He was found as a stray, and my friend wanted to adopt him. She later left him at my house and promised she would come back for him, then never came back. From what we could find out, Mooncake was neglected and abandoned by his previous owner. We had no record of his medical history when we took him in. We neutered and vaccinated him about two months ago. He has quite a bit of energy and loves belly rubs. He likes chewing on toys and playing fetch. He is an escape artist who can somehow open locked doors. He's very loveable, but also a bit mischievous. He usually doesn't like to sleep alone. He likes to scratch at someone's door until they let him in to sleep in their room. He sometimes sneakily sleeps on the be IMPORTANT: He has one bite on record. He typically has a friendly and playful temperament, but he once bit me on the scalp while I was trying to separate him from my sister's dog. The bite was not very deep, and I did not need stitches or any medical treatment.

Story
This is Rocket - he’s a people pleaser who love companionship and attention. He’ll follow us around the house and lay at our feet when we’re home. He’s been through training as a puppy though he needs continual practice and learning. He is a lover who has a silly smiley face. He is very loyal and eager to please. He has a lot of energy and doesn’t know his own size / strength. He thinks he is the size of a lap dog and will love to cuddle up with you. He’s not great with all other dogs or people. Proper introduction is needed as he is very protective of his family / home (he can bite them as he is a protector). He may take time to adjust but is a lover once done so. When on walks, he sometimes bites us while out of excitement / overwhelmed when he sees other dogs / people on the street. We have other male dogs in the house and it is obvious that he is trying to claim dominance. He is a great dog but is in need of an owner that can give him time, training, love and patience.

Story
Bingo is a good puppy (age is approximately 9 months). We adopted her from a local shelter and have been training her for a couple months with the guidance of a professional trainer. She knows and follows several commands including; sit, stay, place, down and she's walking trained too. She is energetic and loving/affectionate. She is happy to lay next to you or right on top of you if you invite her up. Our house is a zoo and a bit too chaotic for her though, which is why we need to re-home her. She'd do really well in a single pet household.

Story
Snow is a 3 year old border collie mix and has a sweet, silly, and very playful personality! Snow is a super active dog, she loves going to the park, playing fetch with her favorite ball, and gets along well with other dogs ( loves to chase and be chased). When you come home don’t be surprised if she brings you a toy to play! When it’s time to relax and unwind, you can bet Snow will be right by your side. We are looking for a new home for her due to issues with our landlord. We hope that her new home gives her the love, attention, and care she deserves. She’s an absolute love bug at heart, and the sweetest companion that will always be by your side. Snow has gone through a fair amount of training (basic and advanced training at Petco, certifications will be provided) and knows commands such as: sit, wait, down, leave it, heel, shake. We hope her new home gives her as much love as she has to offer! 🩷

Ruka

Husky

Male, Adult
San Jose, CA
Size
(when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more
Details
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ruka is a 7-year-old Siberian Husky that had been a part of our family since pup-hood. As Ruka got older, he began displaying food aggression towards our other dogs which led to fights and injuries. Due to this, it would be best for him to be a single-pet. Although Ruka had not displayed aggression towards people or children, we believe he would do best in either an adult or older children household. We cannot afford to go through behavioral training and know that it’s best for him to be rehomed for the safety of our other pets. He loves going on walks but does pull a lot until you get to a park where he sniffs everything he can. He loves playing fetch but doesn't always return the ball and instead wants to be chased. He likes being around family event mainly because he knows somebody is going to give him food. Be careful with rat poison, he's eated some before and finished it. He also loves the beach (not so much swimming but just running and splashing on the waves.
