She is very playful, has good energy, has a good appetite, we found her outside on the street, I tried to give her a place, having my first dog, but when my cat showed up she didn't get along. She likes to take walks in the park but she is a bit restless,She doesn't bite, she's not aggressive, she only bites you when she's playing and it doesn't hurt.

Story
Emma is a sweet, playful little 4lb Yorkie. She is 2.5 years old. Her owner recently passed away and the widow (my mom) is not able to care for her by herself. We are looking to re-home her to a loving home. She is a sweetheart and very cuddly with her owners, but is apprehensive with strangers. She loves chasing toys, especially small stuffed animals, and loves squeaky toys. She has not been around other dogs or cats, so we don't know how she does around them. She warms up to my kids (9 and 11) after being around them for a few days, so I have no doubt that once she feels comfortable around her new family, she will fit right in. She has been a house-dog and will need some patience with leash training and other basic commands. She is house trained and will signal that she wants to go outside to go potty. She is a purebred Yorkshire Terrier, registered with the AKC. Paperwork/transfer of ownership is available. She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

Story
Diego  is a good boy, likes to be close to you when you're sitting around and working on the computer.  He's crate trained, and likes hanging out in his crate during the day when you're away from home.  At night, he learned very quickly to sleep on a bed on the floor, without trying to jump on my bed.  He sleeps quietly until you're ready to get up and let him out. Diego gets very excited to go for a walk, and gets vocal when he sees you putting on your shoes.  This is a behavior we're working to extinguish right now. Diego is nervous around new people.  He needs an adopter who will understand from dog stress signs and only let him approach them.  Diego is not a fit for young children in the home, as children can be unpredictable and make him nervous. Diego's adopters should understand that they should not stick their hands in his face unpredictably, he should be only calmly petted, especially by new people.  Once he knows and trusts you, he will roll over for belly rubs.  Diego is an affectionate dog, but it's best that he goes to a calm home where he can feel secure. Diego loves to play fetch!  He's also good with other dogs in the home. Diego can be a little leash reactive, where he barks and pulls towards other dogs.  This is a behavior we're also working on using positive reinforcement. Energy Level? Medium House trained? Mostly Describe how they are on leash? He pulls ahead initially but not hard, and will walk better after a few minutes.  Working on leash manners. Describe how they are with other dogs? Good in the same household. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they? Yes, Diego has lived with cats in his previous home. Commands they know? Sit, going into his crate with a visual signal What are their favorite things? Playing fetch What do they need to work on? leash manners, he can benefit from more basic obedience cues. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone? Good.  Up to 8 hours in his previous home. Where do they sleep? Crate during the day, on a dog bed on the floor at night. What is their ideal home? Adult only home, with people who are experienced around nervous dogs and understand stress signs.   July 2, 2024, 12:20 am

Tripod #Tripawd #Tripaw &#226&#173&#144&#239&#184&#143 Adopt Jackson, The Cutest Tripod &#226&#173&#144&#239&#184&#143 Lovingly called Jack, Jack is an 18-pound, 3-year-old dog. DNA test pending. Jack is eager to learn and is currently in a board-and-train program. He is crate and potty-trained. He is currently learning basic manners, commands, and socializing while living with a trainer in a home with her two dogs and a cat. Jack has had a difficult and challenging journey. He was surrendered to Every Pet's Dream Rescue in great pain. His backstory is unknown. Our vets did everything they could to help him, but unfortunately, after his first surgery failed, his back leg had to be amputated. Jack can be vocal at times when startled and was most likely not socialized as a puppy. He is currently working on these fears. While at the rescue, Jack learned to adapt as an amputee, his new living situation with several other dogs and a cat. While here, he became besties with two little rescue dogs. Jack is energetic, likes to play with little dogs, loves to play fetch, go for short walks, and settle in on the couch for a cuddle or snuggle. Jack loves the simple things in life, like belly rubs, ear scratches, lots of stuffed toys, and people. Jack would do best as an only dog or a home with a small, playful dog. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Jack is a sweet, loyal, and loving companion. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Jack is searching for a foster home or foster-to-adopt when he graduates from training at the end of the year. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 If you're looking for a new best friend, Jack might be the dog for you! Please spread the word, and let's find Jack his forever home!   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online application:   www.everypetsdream.org/adopt , and  we will have everything we need to know to call you back and set up an appointment.  Follow us:  Facebook  and  Instagram    July 2, 2024, 12:20 am

Story
Ginny  is super sweet and playful, especially with other dogs. She's a little skittish at first and takes a little while to warm up, but once she's comfortable with you, she is sweet, a champion snuggler, and an all-around great companion. Energy Level?  Medium House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on a leash. Does well on a leash. Likes to stop and smell all the smells. Describe how they are with other dogs?     Ginny plays nice with other dogs and has lived with other dogs; however, she would do well as your one and only.   She loves all the attention. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Ginny has been in home with a dog-savvy cat and did very well. Commands they know?  She comes when called.  What are their favorite things?  Playing with other dogs, chewing on toys and treats, and snuggling with her people. She also enjoys being outside and exploring our backyard. What do they need to work on?   Ginny  is still learning what's okay and not okay to chew. She'll need lots of toys that are safe for chewing and some patience and understanding while she figures it out.  How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  She has been alone for up to 8 hours and has been okay. She may howl briefly as we leave but then quiets down. She is generally happy in her crate and has a good view of all her foster fur siblings. Where do they sleep?  In a small crate in our bedroom. She sleeps well through the night and enjoys a morning snuggle in our bed when there's time. What is their ideal home?   Ginny 's perfect home includes at least one other similarly-sized dog because doggy playtime is her favorite thing. She'll need a family who can give her some time and space to get comfortable, as she can be pretty skittish initially. She'll also need patience as she learns what's okay to chew and what's not. Once she's comfortable with you and all settled in, she is an excellent companion and will reward you with epic snuggles and much love. Ginny should be in an adult only home. July 2, 2024, 12:20 am

Story
Charlotte  is a sweet, friendly, curious dog who is happy to jump into your lap for pets. Energy Level?  Medium (at times high) House trained? Yes, mostly Describe how they are on a leash. Great. Describe how they are with other dogs?  Overall dog friendly. She will play once she feels relaxed but prefers to initiate play. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Good with dog-savvy cats Cues they know?  Sit What are their favorite things? She loves attention, being petted, walking, toys, and food. What do they need to work on?  Charlotte would benefit from more basic training (like come, stay, etc.) She also can be vocal when excited (either when she sees someone she likes or if there is street noise outside) How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  Charlotte does not seem to suffer from separation anxiety as long as another dog is with her. I have left her alone for 6 to 7 hours at a time so far. Where do they sleep?  She sleeps in a dog bed or a crate. What is their ideal home? Charlotte's ideal home would have another dog or two unless a person is there most of the time. She loves going for short walks every day or a few times a day. She has tons of energy in the morning and at night. She will growl if a dog is too 'in her face' but overall has a good temperament with dogs and seems fine with cats. She does not enjoy being handled by a vet (i.e., getting shots), but other than that, she is great with people after being given a minute or two to acclimate. July 2, 2024, 12:20 am
