Story
Maze is a sweet, 6 year old boy, with a big heart. He's from the streets of Texas, so he loves to sunbathe in the back yard, and hates the cold. He's a couch potato who loves to curl up next to you and sleep. He just wants to be a 70lb lap dog, and doesn't realize his size. His kisses are the best deep kisses on the planet. He's blind in his left eye, but doesn't allow that to stop him. He is good with other female dogs, but not male dogs. He's been around cats, who he loves to chase on occasion, but has never hurt them. Current vaccines, neuter, and microchip all included in his adoption fee. He is available throughout the PNW with transport included at no extra charge. Please start with the adoption application: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt

Story
Gracie is a plott hound jagdterrier mix that was rescued from a property after her owner was murdered. She loves other dogs, but like most hunting dogs, should not be placed with cats. Gracie is quiet, crate trained, and very clean. She never makes a mess in her kennel. Gracie also loves snuggling up on the couch with her foster mom and other dogs. She is super social and athletic. Gracie is reported to be 3 years old. She has been in foster for over a month and is fully potty trained and has excellent house manners. She’s incredibly smart and picks up on acceptable behaviors very quickly. She wants nothing more than to be part of a family after spending her whole life living on a chain. Gracie would make a wonderful addition to any active family. Spay, microchip, and current vaccines all included in her adoption fee. Please start with the application: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt

Story
Palomita and her tiny friend Chata were rescued from a neglectful home where they were starved, covered in mange, and left to survive outside. Both girls have been in foster care getting healthy for several months now. Palomita is super dog friendly and really would love a doggy friend. She is also fostered with cats and pays no attention to them. She's extremely shy, but loves to be pet and cuddled when offered treats. She will submissively roll over for belly rubs and face scratches. Most of her hair has grown back and she’s learning what it means to have predictable meals. She does not have any issues sharing food, she loves to share with her foster siblings. She loves running with all of the dogs in her foster home and waits patiently for her favorite thing- treats! She is very mellow and would love a home with a yard. Palomita walks pretty well on leash, but is overall nervous. She needs a patient and loving owner that will continue to work on her confidence and connect with her sweet demeanor. Please consider opening your home to a wonderful dog like Palomita and showing her what a real family is! Please apply for Palomita below: Www.freedomboundhounds.com/adopt

Story
Precious Mercy is a friendly adult around 3-4 years old. We found Mercy chained and emaciated whenever we were visiting our rescue partners in Texas. One said "you have to see these dogs at this house". The scene haunted us, and we took action, eventually the dogs were removed from the property. Mercy lived a life where she was forced to have multiple litters and lived in a dirty dog house. When she went to foster care, she was so grateful. We got her healthy, treated her heartworm, fed her a lot of snacks, and have given her a lot of love. She does great with all dogs, big and small. She has been around kids that are dog savvy, and doesn't seem to care about the cats that she has met. Mercy's rescue is based in Boise, but she is available for direct adoption throughout the PNW with transport included at no extra charge. Spay, microchip, and current vaccines are included in her adoption fee. Please start with the adoption application: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt

Story
Meet sweet Dahlia! 7 month old Dahlia believes she is perfectly lap sized and loves snuggles and attention! She is a petite sized, medium energy girl who is happy to spend time with you anyway you like! She would love a good time outside or is happy to have a cuddle party on the couch! She sleeps quietly in her crate, sits for treats, and loves food! She does great with other dogs and we think she would do well with kiddos as well! She has yet to be tested with cats, but since she's just a baby, we think she will do fine. Dahlia is loyal and loving, she weighs about 40 lbs and shouldn't get much bigger. She's a true catch! If you need an excellent cuddler in your life, please apply for Dahlia at the link below. Dahlia's rescue is based in Boise, but transport is included for direct adoptions throughout the PNW at no extra charge.
