Story
Arlo is a young Dorkie with a big personality. He is a masterful stuffed animal surgeon, assisting any plush toy in their weight loss journey. He is a pro at fetch and loves to run. He has been excellent with our family cats, even having his own spot on the cat tree! While he has tolerated other dogs in our extended family, he does not care to spend too much time with them. He would do best as your only pup. He has enjoyed attention from our kiddos but our youngest is 9, so he is not experienced with small children and would need supervision if you decided to adopt him. He loves to snuggle deep under the covers and is crate trained.

Story
Bumper is the biggest loverdog we've ever met. When he isn't trying to play tug-of-war or fetch, he is curling up on the couch with his head on your lap. He loves to cuddle in bed after he's let out of his crate and will happily roll over for a belly rub. He enjoys being the little spoon. This big boy loves affection. Bumper is doing well with house training. He has had a few accidents but is getting better each day. He has learned "sit" and knows he is only allowed on one couch and not the other. He does well in his crate - he will whine for a few minutes but settles down quickly. When we're at home, he will bark a few times if he hears someone near the door, but is pretty quiet otherwise. He's a bit of a zig-zagger during walks and loves to greet everybody that walks by, but has already improved a ton from day one! He has never tried to chew anything that isn't a toy or get into any food that he shouldn't. He's got manners! This dog loves people. He has befriended many people at the Gateway Mission men's center. He loves to walk by and get attention. He is kind to every visitor we've had in the apartment, eager to play and cuddle. As for children, Bumper gets mouthy and ~spirited~ when he plays, so he's better in a home with teens and up. He doesn't use force and redirects well to a toy. We are hoping he loses this trait as he becomes more comfortable in a home! This is one good dog. We love Bumper and are so thankful to be his foster fam!

Story
Chalupa is a gentle and sweet big girl. She enjoys playing with my little dog Daphne and laying on her back playing with her toys in her paws. She takes treats very gently. She seems to enjoy car rides. She comes when called, wagging her tail and smiling. Any family will be truly lucky to adopt this special girl!

Story
Harry's a short little guy with a big goofy personality. Harry surprised us with some tricks over the last few days. He knows your basic manners of sit, lay and stay, but was happy to display his skills to speak, shake and roll over. Harry gets along great with his furry foster siblings, but loves being cuddled up and close to his humans. Being outside is one of his favorite things, but couch potato’ing is a close second. We’ve seen his little zoomies come out, especially when his humans try to play chase with him. He has been a sweet joy to have in the house.
