Story
Are you ready for a loyal, energetic, and endlessly loving companion? Meet Element , a who’s bursting with potential and waiting for her perfect forever home! This spirited girl needs an active family who can keep up with her energy and offer plenty of exercise, ideally with a big fenced yard where she can run to her heart’s content (a high fence is essential since she’s a skilled jumper). She thrives with someone who works from home or is home often, as she doesn’t do well crated for long periods due to some separation anxiety. She’s still learning the ropes of being a house dog, including leash manners—she’s an enthusiastic puller—and housetraining, where she’s making progress but still has occasional accidents. Her family will need to be patient, dedicated to training, and willing to celebrate her little victories along the way. While she’s friendly, her energy level makes her better suited for a home without young kids, and a cat-free household is a must. This sweet girl would also love a calm canine companion to show her the ropes—she’s especially bonded to her current buddy, an older lab mix, and follows his lead in everything from house manners to relaxing during downtime. If you’re an active, loving, and patient dog owner looking for a partner to train, play, and grow with, Element might be the perfect match!

Story
At 6 yrs old he still has a lot of energy and gets the zoomies around the house .He loves our fenced in backyard! He'll play tug with a rope but once he gets it, he takes it back to his crate with his other toys. He doesn't seem to get the concept of fetch but we're working on that still. He does know sit but will need some work on basic commands and leash manners.

Story
Meet Gina 🐾 Gina is a resilient and sweet 7-year-old pup looking for a loving, patient home. While she’s had a tough past, her gentle nature shines through, especially when she’s around other dogs. Chelsea is more comfortable with canine companions than humans and thrives in a home with other dogs to guide and support her. She’s still learning to trust people, but with time, patience, and understanding, she’ll blossom. Important Disclosures for Potential Adopters: Heartworm Positive: Gina is currently heartworm positive and being treated using the Moxy/Doxy protocol. This alternative method avoids the painful injection treatments but may take longer (up to a year) for her to test negative. Next Steps: After adoption, you can choose to continue this protocol or discuss injection treatments with your vet (cost estimate: ~$1,000). Regular monthly administration of Advantage Multi is essential, along with strict activity restriction until she tests negative. Plan for a heartworm test in 3-4 months to monitor her progress and determine when she can safely resume normal exercise. Eye Condition: Gina has some scarring on her cornea and iris, which has remained stable since her last check-up in July. Recommendations: A veterinary ophthalmologist could provide more specific guidance on her eye health, prognosis, and treatment options. While the scarring is chronic, there is a possibility her cornea could be more vulnerable to ulceration. Behavioral Notes: Gina experienced some behavioral changes while in her previous home, including reduced responsiveness and forgetting boundaries. What We Know: Neurological exams and bloodwork have ruled out underlying health issues like liver or kidney disease. These changes may stem from anxiety or stress related to her puppy mill background. Personality Traits: Gina is more comfortable around dogs than people, and she’ll thrive in a home with other calm, social dogs. She’s still fearful of people and needs a patient adopter to help her feel safe. Currently, she allows petting but only when gently approached. Gina Ideal Home: A calm, quiet environment with other friendly dogs. An adopter who understands her need for patience and is willing to give her the time and space to adjust. Someone committed to managing her health needs and providing regular vet care. Gina has so much love to give and will be a loyal companion to the right family. If you think you can provide Gina with the safe and supportive home she deserves, please reach out to learn more about her! 🐶❤️

Story
YO YO YO! I'm Parker, I'm a BIG DAWG with BIG ENERGY. I will absolutely thrive in a home with lots of space for me to run around and get my energy out. I'm comfortable with kids and dogs, but I've never met a cat. If you are someone with lots of room, a farm, or a big fenced in yard, I'm your guy! I like eating my meals out of a slow-feeder bowl since I'm always in a rush to play and frolic through the tulips! Things that make me happy include Kongs, some dog toys to destroy, or even some frozen lick mats. I am very much looking forward to being the BIG DAWG of your BIG DREAMS, let's meet and we can get goofy together!!! I'm at the Forsyth Humane Society's adoption center, so come down and meet me as soon as you get the chance. I'll even drive us home if you let me - but you shouldn't let dogs drive - so maybe don't do that...See ya soon!
