Story
Introducing Maggie, a beautiful terrier mix looking for her forever home. Although she is estimated to be only slightly over a year old this sweet girl is full of joy. She loves to play, get lots of attention and is always happy. She does have quite a bit of energy so an active family and/ or a fenced in yard is preferred. She does well with other dogs, particularly energetic ones looking for a playmate, but needs to be in a home without cats as they can be a little too tempting to harass. She is currently strong on leash but our foster is working on her training, the world has so much to offer she gets super excited. She is housebroken and crate trained and ready for a loving family to call her own! If a shorter stature bundle of fun is what you are looking for in a dog, look no further! Visit us at reddogfarm.com and fill out an application.

Story
Good morning, I need to rehome Katie or find some placement for her this week. She is a loving animal and great with people, and other dogs. I have never had her around children so I don't know if she would be to strong for young children. In the past week my family circumstances have changed and I can no longer have her here. I have taken in a family member with a mental health issue and she is unfortunately not helping the situation. I truly thought she might be a support dog; however that is not how this went. Originally I was placing her up for adoption for my allergies and now situation has changed in the past few days. I really hope someone one can help, or I'll have to drop her at the pound this weekend. Thank you for the prayers and the support.

Story
Meet Annabelle, a 4-year-old hound mix. This sweet girl was found as a stray in South Carolina and was brought home by a loving family. They have reached out to help find Annabelle what she deserves, a loving home of her very own. Annabelle loves the companionship of her people, other dogs, and during cat testing was indifferent (she, however, has not shared a home with cats). Thanks to the hard work of our foster family, she is now housebroken and walks nicely on a leash. This girl loves going to the park and would love spending time with her forever family enjoying the outdoors. If this beauty sounds like the perfect addition to your pack, visit us at reddogfarm.com and fill out an application.

Story
Jake is a handsome, 17lb, 4 yr old Schipperke (possibly mix). If you know Schipperkes, Jake will feel very familiar to you. This little guy is smart and inquisitive; at the same time, he wants to please. Jake is content to hang out with you, beside you and/or on your lap.  Jake is an excellent walking partner who can walk up to five or six miles daily. He LOVES his routine of daily morning walks, regardless of the weather. Jake enjoys trail adventures as much as walks in the park and on the greenway, so he would also make a good companion for a runner and/or hiker. Jake is a true Schipperke who is busy and seldom walks when he can trot or scamper. Jake could be an only dog or share his home with another dog his size.  He has some tendencies toward guarding his toys and food around other dogs in the home, so this would require some monitoring/management.  The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC, VA  or East TN. If you are interested in adopting this dog, contact h2hadoptions@gmail.com. We require an all-adult home (no young children) with a securely fenced yard attached to the home, 5 ft or higher with NO gaps larger than 2.5 inches.  An invisible fence, enclosed patio or terrace, temporary fencing or community shared fencing are NOT considered secure fencing. No exceptions. There is an application process and adoption fee. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. Adoption Fee: $400July 10, 2024, 4:32 pm
