Story
Onyx is a 4 year old neutered male. He's about 86 lbs. He's lovable, calm, smart, and a good walking buddy. He has 3 human siblings at home ages 11, 15, and 16 and 1 dog sibling at home. He's good with human cousins as well that are younger and although he is large and strong, he just wants to give a lot of kisses. He loves being parked on a couch or a comfy dog bed, loves to shred a stuffed animal or just gnaw on a bone and he's content. He's a good guard dog and will bark if anyone is at the front door. He will keep your backyard free of pesky rodents, and currently used to having a fenced in yard. Does well with an e-collar, and although he's been living with a sister dog at home it's best he goes into a home where he is the only dog. He is crate trained but also trusted in the house loose at night or if you're leaving home. Thank you for considering!! <3

Story
Zeus is coming to us from a rural shelter in eastern Texas. Hours before he was set to be euthanized the shelter reached out to us for help. Of course we couldn’t let this sweet boy die! We are told that he is around 5 years of age and is a super sweet good boy! He weighs currently around 50/60 pounds, and may be a little on the slimmer side of where he should be at. He is dog friendly, we do not know at this time about kids or cats. The transporter said he is in the top 3 dogs she has ever worked with when it comes to him being a love bug. Unfortunately we did learn he is currently Heartworm positive, so we will have to treat that.

Story
Hello there, I'm Giovanni! I'm still a young pup, full of life and ready to share my love. I've got a heart full of sweetness and a spirit that loves to play. My friends tell me I'm friendly, gentle, and a bit goofy too. I can't help it, I just love to make people laugh! Cuddles? Oh, I'm all about them. I'm also pretty good with older kids, I think they're great fun. I should let you know, I've got heartworm, but don't worry, with the right care, I can bounce back. With my treatments I would need a local adopter to help fix me up. So, why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to fill your life with laughter, playfulness, and unconditional love. I'm ready to find my forever home. Could it be with you? ***Please note Gio is currently Heartworm positive. Any adopter local to the Cleveland area will have Gio treated through the rescue if adopted before treatment has started. If you are interested in Gio, but live outside the Cleveland area the rescue is willing to reimburse the adopter the cost of what the rescue would have paid for treatment at our local clinic.

Story
Vader is an owner surrender request, whose family reached out to us to find a home that would be better suited for him. He is currently 4 years old and does well with other dogs, just needs slow intros initially. He would do better in a home without cats as he can be a little curious and chase them. Vader doesn’t mind older kids as long as they are more on the laid back side, as too much yelling/loud noises can be scary to him. He is a very sweet boy that is smart and super trainable. His family says he is medium energy, but is still playful.
