Story
Sweet Yorkie, she needs a home with other pups alike or someone who has more time. I work to much and feel bad I don’t have the time to give her. Medical records could be available, she’s been going to the same vet and groomer her whole life. She is 14 years old, loves keeping to herself but plays well with others, she’s very playful for her age.

Story
Burrito showed up on my neighbor's porch 8 years ago. He was emaciated, shivering, wet. The neighbors took him to the local shelter where I tracked him down the next day and proceeded to adopt him. He is an energetic little man, loves to play outside (but not when it's frigid cold), go for walks, and cuddle up in the evening. Life has changed and I now have three kids, 3 year old twins and a 6 month old. We have tried and tried to get Burrito to warm up to the boys, but to no avail. He does not care to be around them. When they come at him fast trying to play, he will unfortunately snip at them. With the 6 month old starting to move around more, my wife and I have made the sad decision to try to find a home for Burrito where he can be the center of attention again, and to also avoid an injury to one of the kids. He is house trained, protective, and a good dude. He is great company and loves to be out and about just as much as he loves snuggling on the couch.

Story
Lorelai, the sweetest house hippo you’ll ever meet, is a shining example of resilience and the power of second chances. 💞 Pulled from Memphis Animal Services in September 2022 as part of a felony neglect case, Lorelai arrived at Kane's Mission - Dog Rescue weighing just 26 pounds and battling heartworm. Thanks to the incredible care of her foster family, she has made a full recovery and is now more than ready to find her forever home! At almost 4 years old and a plumb 60 lbs, Lorelai has left the chaos of puppyhood behind and comes with the comfort of a well-established temperament. She’s fully house-trained and a wonderfully well-behaved houseguest. Lorelai adores all people and is happiest lounging around the house or enjoying a stroll in the backyard. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she prefers canine friends who match her chill vibe and would love to be in a feline-free home. Despite the hardships she endured, Lorelai’s lively spirit and love for people have never wavered. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who’s ready to soak up all the love and give it right back. Lorelai is proof that love and care can transform lives. Open your heart to her, and you’ll discover a loyal, loving companion who will fill your home with joy and gratitude. She’s ready to start her happily-ever-after—could it be with you? 🐾❤️
