Story
Meet Symba, a 2-year-old male pup with a shy disposition that blossoms into affectionate companionship once he opens up. This little boy loves to follow you around and is happiest when he can sit or lay by your side, making him the perfect cuddle buddy. Symba is searching for a special friend to love and snuggle with. Due to his tendency to gravitate towards one person in the home and become protective, Symba would thrive in a one-person household or with someone who can establish themselves as the alpha, ensuring he understands that guarding behavior is not acceptable. If you're ready to provide a loving, structured environment, Symba could be the perfect addition to your home. His adoption fee is $300 which includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.All animals are up to date on age appropriate shots, microchipped and fixed. To meet one of our animals we require an approved application. You can fill one out at https://tobyscrittercoverescue.org/adoptionapp/ July 14, 2024, 10:32 pm

Story
Ellie is a sweet 5 month old, 16# Collie mix who would love an active home.  She was initially adopted and returned after 6 days because she was limping.  She had a fracture of her tibial tuberosity and we had an amazing surgeon repair it immediately. She is doing phenomenal! Ellie is looking for a foster-to-adopt home while she heals over the next 2 weeks. She has puppy energy and gets her zoomies. She does well with dogs of all sizes. She has a very sweet nature and will do well in most environments. She loves a good bone and playing with and hoarding toys. Her adoption fee is $450 which includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. Story
Paid online + fee   Chase is a very sweet, loving, and happy boy who will win at hide-go-seek every single time. His nose is superb and he would be a great dog for scent training. He would also make a great dog for just being part of a family. He loves walks and playing outside. He does great with the resident dogs and is very respectful of the older girls. They don't like a lot of chaos and he watches to assure he keeps playtime far enough away so they don't get caught in the middle. He is very playful with my big 5yr old dog. He loves the resident cat! He is extremely food motivated. He is slightly submissive and we have been working on building his confidence for several months and he's done superb. He loves kids and his favorite thing is car rides! I've attached a video of his most loved spot in the car on a sunny day.  He is 9 months old and 40# and is ready to share all of his love and happiness with a family. His adoption fee is $300 which includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. Story
COURTESY POST Nelson is a courtesy post. He is not a Paws and Prayers dog as we don't have room at this time. He is a male mountain cur dog, is 3 years old and very sweet. He is 70 pounds, brindle in color and very well behaved per the family. We have so many dogs in foster right now, and the family agreed to keep him until he finds a home so we are doing a courtesy post. They took him when a relative could no longer keep him.  Nelson is neutered and up to date on his shots. The family is asking a $200 rehoming fee but will negotiate for a good home. Nelson can be protective but as long as you are consistent, he minds well and is very trainable per the family. If interested, please contact through email at jfmclain87@gmail.com . Please email this party if you need any further information.  If you do an application at www.pawsandprayers.org, we will forward it to the party.  July 15, 2024, 8:30 am

Story
Meet Mr. Boomer, Boomer is a big boy weighing in at almost 90 pounds. He has been at his foster’s home only a few weeks and has already lost a little weight by doing the stairs. This GENTLE-man is 11 yrs. young. He loves car rides and is just all around comfort and love, he always enjoys meeting new people and dogs. He has not met cats since we got him only because there are no cats at his foster’s home. He is potty trained, and does not mind staying in a room alone when his foster is at work. Due to his mature age he does not need to be crated. This guy has had only one owner since he was a pup. Due to unfortunate life circumstances Boomer is in search of another loving furever home. If you have any questions and/or would like to meet this sweet, gentle soul please contact sue@pawsandprayers.org.
