Story
Looking for a loving and forever home for a beautiful, sweet, short-haired, seven month old dog who was hit by a car. She appears to be an Australian cattle dog/ pit bull mix. Her owners could not afford the care necessary to save her life so a kind veterinarian donated the surgery and care needed. She has recovered well and is adapting to walking and even running with only one back leg. I have been fostering her since she came from the vet clinic, where she had a great reputation during her 23 day stay. This mix is eager to please, easily trained, and needs exercise. She is playful and energetic and would love to show you affection! She has been living indoors, and potty and crate trained. Not very vocal but she gives a short bark or whine when she needs to go out. Hoping for a home where she can get the love and time she deserves! Pet fee covers food, crate, heart worm med, vest and toys that will be sent with her.

Story
Norman was transported to us from California in October. He was a stray there so we don’t know his exact age but we’ve estimated about 1 year or so. He’s a great dog and incredibly smart. Norman knows many commands now and is very food-motivated! He’s a high-energy boy that loves fetch, walks, runs, and Michigan snow. He’s crate trained. We have been working on his leash manners, too. Norman needs an experienced adopter as he seems to be a mix of a few breeds: Husky, pit, and German Shepherd. His ideal home would be with an active owner and without young children. Large dog breeds OK. Extra peanut butter on hand is essential! :)

Story
Scout is a very energetic, friendly, eager dog. He was born October of 2023. We purchased him from a local breeder and he came to live with us at 8 weeks. He is AKC registered. He is up to date on vaccines and we give him Simparica Trio monthly. He is house and kennel trained. We are very torn to rehome him, but it is best for both him and us. He is a good dog, but our children are all very young and Scout is a big boy. He gets excited and either bowls over the kids or eagerly gets his paws up which is a problem for a small child. We also are struggling to give him the time and attention he deserves now that we have another newborn baby. He is very strong, so an elderly owner may struggle a bit taking him for walks and so forth. He is eager and pulls at the leash typically. I have hesitated to train this out of him since I want him to burn as many calories in the short while we spend outside on cold winter days. We are looking for the perfect home for him and in no hurry to rehome.

Story
We are looking to rehome our 5 year old GSP. He is very high energy, as expected with this breed, and we’ve had a hard time keeping him out of trouble. We have tried our best to keep him in the family. My parents took him after he showed some signs of aggression towards our other dog, but my parents can’t keep up with his energy anymore. He’s quick to tear up a lawn or find things to go through in the house. He has never bitten anyone and is typically friendly (besides with our golden retriever at times). He is eager to please, loves to chase birds but is gun shy. Would make a great dog for someone that has the time for his energy and could invest a little more training.

Story
Hi there, my name is Tilly, your future best friend and loyal guardian! I am a two and a half year old smart girl who know several tricks. My favorite things to do are play with my toy rope and make a nest of blankets in my crate. I am fiercely loyal and will alert you of any danger - even if it’s just the mailman or the neighbors. I prefer the solo life when it comes to other dogs and animals. I like to have all the attention and treats for myself! I’m also really fast and love to play outside and retrieve, so a big yard would be ideal for my behavior. I have gotten along with adults and older teenagers before. I can be hesitant to warm up to males, but when I do, we’re best friends for life! My ideal home would include a single person or couple. If you’re looking for a loyal dog who loves to give big slobbery kisses and wiggle her whole body with excitement, then I’m your gal! I am up-to-date on my shots, I’m spayed, and I’m chipped! Even better, I am house-broken and crate trai
