Story
Tammy is a gentle little girl with a heart full of love. Her big, soulful eyes and constantly wagging tail say it all: she adores being close to people. This snuggly sweetheart loves giving kisses and is always ready for a belly rub. She’s a calm, affectionate puppy who will melt into your lap for cuddles, just waiting for the perfect family to shower her with love."TAMMY" 🐾Searching for a Second Chance 🐾Tammy came to use with her 4 other siblings. Imagine being so young and full of life, only to find yourself abandoned and alone. That’s the heartbreaking reality these five sweet puppies faced. Uprooted from the only life they knew, they were cruelly dumped and left to fend for themselves, too small and vulnerable to understand why the world had turned its back on them.Their story took a turn for the better when a Good Samaritan spotted them and made the call that saved their lives. Thanks to the quick action of the Sheriff’s Department, these little ones were brought to our shelter, where they’re finally safe, warm, and fed.Despite everything they’ve been through, these puppies are overflowing with love, trust, and hope. They’re playful, cuddly, and ready to begin a new chapter filled with care and compassion. Each of these tiny tails deserves a forever home where they’ll never have to feel abandoned again.Fill out an application today: www.gchumsoc.org/adoption-application

Husky German Shepherd Dog

Male, Adult
Kensington, MN
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Ruger spent the first two years of his life living in an apartment. Then his best friend decided to pursue a truck driving career so he spent the last two years riding in a semi truck all over the country. Ruger’s human recently left to pursue a military career. His planned placement fell through. Ruger is currently living in our garage as we have a cat and two dogs. Ruger does not have any form of affection for cats. So it is best that he not be in a cat-friendly situation. He is an alpha male and doesn’t get along well with some dogs while others (on neutral territory) he gets along ok with. So it is best that he be the only dog on the household. He has not been exposed to children. Ruger needs to be with someone who can have him around during the day, riding in a semi would be preferable since he loves the lifestyle. He is a great riding companion for someone who is active and wants to get out of the truck for bathroom breaks and playtime.

Story
Henry (7.5 yrs) is an older boy who absolutely loves his people to the ends of the earth and will go anywhere with them! He likes playing with dogs his size or smaller. Sometimes his Heeler comes out when it comes to dogs larger than him and he tends to get sassy with them. Henry loves all sorts of toys but not so much sharing them. Bones are his favorite. He has a great recall. Would ride in a car all day long. Henry does not enjoy being left alone; he wants to snuggle! He walks well on a leash & does great with kids. Can be a bit protective of his people when it comes to strangers but warms up quickly. He also makes goofy little snorting noises when he is excited. He is such a warm & loving companion! www.marshmallowfoundation.org
