Diedra is a 13 year half lab half white shepherd. She spends most of her time sleeping but is a great family dog and loves kids. She gets along with most dogs but does not necessarily trust new dogs she has not met before. She is just over 60 pounds. She has some hip dysplasia and arthritis, however is still active and plays fetch. She gets a daily joint supplement. She also has a benign growth (bump) on her left side but is otherwise in good health. She is an easy keeper with just one late daily meal ( 2 cups) of dog food and a periodic bone or dental chew.

Story
**Boone’s so loved in his current home, but as a recent graduate of college, my new job and lack of funds will not allow me to provide the training he will benefit from. He is a great, loyal companion, and deserves unconditional love.** Boone is 9 months old and looking for a loving, forever home. He is house trained and rings a bell when he needs to go outside. He's also crate trained and does well by himself through a workday, not making a peep as soon as he’s settled down. Boone’s friendly to other dogs and loves to play, although he often forgets how big he is. He walks great on a leash and adores soaking up the sun. Boone’s a gentle, cuddly giant to those he is familiar with but takes warming up to strangers, sometimes projecting as *protective* aggression. With patience and training he would be confident in meeting new people. Boone would be perfect for a female looking for a comfort companion or a couple looking to make home feel a bit safer.

Story
Fiona is a 90-pound bundle of love, just waiting to find her forever home! With her gentle giant demeanor, she's sure to capture your heart. Here's a bit more about this wonderful pup: Loves People: Fiona is a true people-person (or should we say, people-dog!). She adores spending time with her human friends and will shower you with affection. House and Crate Trained: Fiona is a well-behaved girl who is both house and crate trained, making her an excellent addition to any home. No Small Children: Due to her size, Fiona would do best in a home without small children. She may forget her size when playing and knock over a little one by mistake. Mastiff/Big Dog Savvy: Fiona needs an experienced owner who understands the unique needs of large breed dogs, especially Mastiffs. She can be a bit forgetful about her size and manners, so gentle reminders and guidance are essential. Dog Selective: Sweet Fiona is dog selective when it comes to getting along with her furry companions. She does not appreciate when other dogs are in her space and not respecting her boundaries. She tends to get along better with males. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who will lean into your heart, Fiona might be the one for you! Don't miss the opportunity to provide this big-hearted Mastiff mix with a loving forever home. If you're interested in adopting Fiona or have any questions, please fill out an application at www.tailsofhopewi.org. Let's find Fiona the loving family she deserves!

Story
🐾 Meet Penny Layne! 🐾 Penny is a sweet pup on a journey of growth and love. While she's still mastering her crate manners and house training, her progress is evident every day. She's a diligent sleeper in her crate through the night, though she's still learning to enter it gracefully. New experiences can be a tad overwhelming for Penny, but with patience and encouragement, she's bravely stepping out of her comfort zone. She's a social butterfly around kids and other dogs, though she's yet to meet a feline friend. Penny's heart is full of affectionate gestures; she adores cuddles, belly rubs, and giving kisses. Playtime and treats are high on her list of joys, but nothing beats snuggling up in a warm lap. Loud noises can startle her, so she appreciates a calm and reassuring environment. Penny Layne's ideal forever home is one filled with love, patience, and plenty of snuggles. Could you be the one to give her the love and comfort she craves? Apply to adopt at tailsofhopewi.org!🐶💕 *A $100 refundable spay deposit is required in addition to Penny’s adoption fee.
