Story
IDGSR Welcomes DAKOTA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN MASSACHUSETTS & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hi there! My name is Dakota and I’m a handsome 5yr old Shepherd mix. I’m originally an IDGSR dog and have been welcomed back into the rescue due to some life changes with my current family. I know my forever family is out there, I hope it will be with you! *PERSONALITY* I’m a super great dog. I’m friendly with all people that I meet, I’m house & kennel trained, I love to play but don’t have all that crazy puppy energy. I like to go on adventures, play tug, and go anywhere with you. *TRAINING* I already know several commands: paw, off, & wait. I’m very smart and think it would be so cool to learn some more advanced obedience commands. Doing this will help me bond to you & make sure I’m the bestest boy. *IDEAL HOME* My forever home will be with a loving person or family, one that will give me a lot of love and attention. I’d like a yard to play in, a comfy bed to lounge on, and to take walks or go on outings. If you are looking for a loving, mature, smart, and handsome best friend - I’m you guy! If you live in an apartment, condo, townhome, smaller house, or have breed strict HOA rules, I can bypass those since I'm not a full blood German Shepherd! 7. I have a big secret to share with you... I love older women! Are you an older gal looking for a fun loving younger man?! One that gives AMAZING kisses, loves to CUDDLE, and will protect you from scary squirrels and Amazon drivers? Here are 8 fun facts about me & my ideal home! 1. I'm a fun loving gal who loves to play in the yard and I enjoy following pretty much any doggo or hooman around. 2 of my favorite games are 'Simon Says' & 'Follow The Leader'! 2. I'm loving, affectionate, CAT FRIENDLY, sweet, medium in size, and overall just great! I have so much love to give and desperately want a family to call my own! 4. If you live in an apartment, condo, townhome, smaller house, or have breed strict HOA rules, I can bypass those since I'm not a full blood German Shepherd! 6. My ideal home is with a loving person or family. If you have kids, GREAT! I would love to play with them! Do you have a kitty? Great, we will be best buds. 7. I am house & kennel trained! I don't really need to be in a kennel because I'm a lovely girl when left out. 8. I'm such a sweet girl. I'd love to go on walks with you, ride in the car, relax on the patio or couch with you - basically anything as long as we are together! Raising 2 liters of puppies at such a young age has me dreaming of relaxing days. 2. Favorite activities include getting back massages, spending time away from my kids, trying out new recipes, basking in the sun to work on my tan, and curling up on the couch to watch rom-com movies. 3. I was neglected and abused in my past home, I'm looking for a companion that will treat me with love, compassion, respect, and tenderness. 4. I'm obsessed with getting attention, what girl doesn't?!
