Story
Goldie is great with kids and dogs. She has grown up in a family with 4 kids and a cat since 8 weeks old. She just turned 1. We are needing to rehome Goldie because we don't have enough time to give her everything she needs unfortunately. Goldie loves to play and go on walks. She would do great in a home with kids and other dogs or without. She occasionally does resource guarding around food with other dogs so we just feed separately. Goldie is still learning to not pull while walking on a leash and come to her name. Her breed is also a working breed so she does bark. We use a beeping collar which helps to remind her not to bark. She is a great dog, just needs to be with a family who can spend more time with her.

Story
Hello, my name is Sasha! Despite being in a beagle rescue, I’m a Treeing Walker Coonhound, about 7 years old and more significant than the average beagle (~50lbs). I was abandoned by my previous people, and the kind people at CBR stepped in to help me because there wasn’t a good alternative for me in the County I was found in. I am a good girl deserving of a loving family. I’ve been with a few foster families but haven’t found the right one yet. Because of my past I am very fearful of new people and need someone who understands the type of environment I need to be my happy, loving best self. My last foster family took me on many hikes, and the little human taught me tricks and read me bedtime stories every night. My preference is to be in a home with no other (young) dogs, I might do well with another dog with low energy, and cats, well, they are not for me (I am a hound, after all). Because I can’t find a foster home right now I am being cared for at a kennel. I don’t know how long I will be able to stay here. If you want to learn more about me please contact Gennyfer so she can fill you in on my full story. Sasha is a special case, therefore, if you are interested in adopting Sasha, please contact Gennyfer Santel, President of Cascade Beagle Rescue before submitting an application. Gennyfer can be reached at (503) 894-1818 or by email at gennyfer@cascaderescue.org.

Marlon Brando is not just a pretty face, he's also a smooth talker. . . and boy, does he have a lot to say.He is a typical Husky he's full of sass, but he is a good listener and loves to play. He's a funny guy! Marlon was found wandering along a busy highway in Eagle Creek, Oregon. He had an old, but still bleeding, injury to his tail. His tail is all healed now and he's ready for a loving home, preferably with folks who understand and appreciate Huskies. Story
Miley Cyrus lived as a mother dog who was used for breeding. She was roaming the streets when she asked the right people for help. Eager to please, Miley has completed dog training at the head of her class. As a result of her past experiences, she is mistrusting of men and loud noises. She is not aggressive, but rather simply prefers to be alone. If you are kind and gentle, and have the patience to earn her trust, Miley Cyrus might be your girl. Please visit our website pawsanimalshelter.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available animals.

Supremely intelligent and brimming with energy. This highly intelligent, graceful dog is born with an instinct to work and responds extremely well to training, which is why they are often used as a mountain-rescue or sniffer dog.
