Story
We have had honey since she was 5 months and she turns three in November. Unfortunately since the beginning she seems to not be a fan of kids and since we have two small children we are making the hard choice to rehome her. She is very protective of her owners but also loves to snuggle on the couch. She would do best in a family without kids. She does live with two other dogs and goes to daycare and does great. She still occasionally shows teeth to other dogs so may do best in an only dog home but she also loves to play with our male dog. So a home with a male dog might do well. We love her very much and we want to make sure that she goes to a home that will love her and exercise her since she is a young shepard

Story
Meet Jojo, the diamond in the rough who's been patiently waiting for his chance to shine! Despite spending some time at the shelter, Jojo's spirit remains unbroken, and his heart is as big as ever! Jojo has been a staff/volunteer favorite since the day he arrived with his soulful eyes. Though the shelter walls provide temporary refuge, Jojo dreams of a life beyond these confines- a life filled with laughter, companionship, and endless adventures. It is important to note that Jojo has some specific needs. He is a particular guy, meaning he might not get along with all animals or people right off the bat. He cannot live with cats or smaller animals as he can get too rough with them. So far he has been okay around other dogs in play groups but any introductions should be slow and supervised. He may also face some challenges when it comes to sharing possessions. However, Jojo is a quick learner and would benefit greatly from obedience training to help him become the best version of himself. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he's sure to excel and become the loyal companion you've always dreamed of!With each passing day, Jojo eagerly awaits the moment when he can finally find his forever family, a place where he can call home and shower his unconditional love upon those who cherish him. If you are ready to open your heart and home to a furry friend who will forever be grateful, then Jojo is the one for you! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 69 Age: 1yrs 5mths 4wks

Story
Hello everybody, I'm Ruby! My friends here call me quite the trooper because I've made incredible progress since arriving at the shelter! When I first got here, I wasn't feeling my best - my skin needed some serious TLC. But thanks to the amazing care from the staff at the shelter, my coat is now looking lovely and my skin is feeling so much better! 💗 I'm a fun-loving gal with a big heart, and I'm ready to find a special human or family to shower with my love and loyalty. I'll need a little time to get to know you and feel safe because new things can sometimes make me a bit nervous. But don't worry, my friends here can give you great tips for helping me settle in and overcome some of the fears I may have transitioning into my new home. 🏠 I'm a bit selective about my doggy friends, also showing some barrier reactivity as well and I have do have prey drive being of the herding family. So a home without other pets might be the best fit for me. I will say, spoiling only me with all of the attention and endless playtime sounds pretty great 🥰 With some patience, understanding and more positive reinforcement training I can become the best dog companion you've ever had! Although I might need a little extra pampering due to my skin condition and would benefit from a teeth cleaning in the future, I am truly just the sweetest, most playful gal! If you're looking for a loving and resilient dog to share your life with, come meet me! I can't wait to start this new chapter with you. 💕 Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 60.6 Age: 5yrs 3mths 1wks

Story
Hi I'm Baby Girl, a sweet doggie with a heart for love and adventure. I really like people and I respond well to affection, including some serious wiggle actions! I enjoy going on walks, and the volunteers say I walk well with a harness and do not pull. I've had ruff experiences with dogs in the past and have shown that I do not enjoy other dogs' company, so no other dogs in the home, please! I also have some minor medical ailments that the animal health staff is currently treating me for, but our counselors will set you up for success when you chat with them about taking me home. Despite my challenges, my playful spirit and resilience shines through. I'm bound to be your new best friend with notes from a past owner that say I'm an adventure seeker, a goofball, and love attention. I am looking for someone who will give me affection, exercise and a regular routine. In exchange you will get a very loving and loyal companion. I'm already spayed and I'm just the right size, not too big and not too small! I'm also beyond those puppy years, and I am ready to live my best life with my new family. Ask to meet me today and I can show you what a sweetie I am! 🐾 Primary Color: Blond Brindle Weight: 50 Age: 7yrs 7mths 4wks
