Story

Halo is a very sweet dog. She loves our kids and us and when she gets excited her little tail starts wagging. She will bark when unkown people come to door. She likes to chase cats but hasn't hurt one. She gets along with our other dogs, but at times becomes territorial over her food and toys when my other dogs are nearby. I can no longer keep her and my English Mastiff together at any time. She cannot be allowed around chickens and or small indoor pets such as guinea pigs. She should be the only dog in a house due to uncertainty around other animals. If she was my only dog I would keep her as she is such a sweet dog to us, but unfortunately I can't keep her and my English Mastiff together. She is still in-tact because I cannot afford to get her spayed due to an economic hardship during the last year.

Pip's Bio 9 Year old Female -75lb-Great Pyr Mix Spayed and all up to date on shots (except Kennel cough) we never put her in a Kennel and she doesn't come into contact with other dogs Great with People and Kids - patient/indifferent Needs a fenced Yard -Initial reaction to strange dogs is - assert dominance.She used to live with her big brother Great Pyr (he passed a few years ago) mix but she was introduced as a puppy.I walk her with a gentle leader and am very aware of other dogs and cross the street to keep our distance She is very content to spend her day in the yard - prefers vs being in the house even when it is snowing or raining - unless the temp is over 90 Ideally she would love for her family to spend the day out with her in the yard where she can watch over them. We need help. She is a beautiful dog that has been loved her whole life. Unfortunately the next steps of mine will make it very uncomfortable, almost impossible, to meet her needs, for that reason we need help.

Strawberry (named after the family's favorite ice-cream) is a rescue dog and has been in our family for 5 years. He is very sweet and very social. He loves dog parks, walks and playing with any dog toy he can get a hold of. He is self sufficient when he is alone but he does get bored if nobody is around. He is used to having someone around most of the day. He loves the warm weather, when the sun is out he loves to relax outside. He gets along with other dogs - sometimes too well as he can bug the other dog is they do not want to play. Strawberry is a very easy to please dog and a great best friend. We are not asking for any money for our sweet boy, we are looking for the right home for him where he can thrive and get all the love that he deserves.
