Story
Parker is a healthy, smart, happy, playful, loving 2 yr. old. She loves to fetch, run, and play, especially in water. She truly believes she is a lap dog, and loves people of all ages, dogs and cats. She would do best in a completely fenced larger yard where she can run to her heart's content. She rarely barks. She knows several tricks as well! Due to a recent medical diagnosis for my spouse, I need to transition to become a full-time caregiver to my spouse while also working full-time. We need to find another home for Parker as I won't have the time to properly care for and exercise her and it wouldn't be fair to crate her for long periods of time. We really don't want to re-home Parker because she has been such a sweet, fun companion, but it is what will be best for all of us. Will provide all vet records. She will come with a bed, two collars, gentle leader, leash, toys and food. We have an XXL crate and other items available for purchase if interested.

Story
1year old Toast is full of energy and love. She is still new to the world and is anxious of her surroundings but just needs a little more training to shape her up. She has some accidents but knows how to use a doorknob bell. She loves snuggling and hugs, and loves treats!

Story
Bow was part of our Valentine's litter last year and unfortunately was returned to us after 11 months because the two older resident dogs did not like to play with him. Bow actually has a really nice play style and would love to share his future home with a playful female dog around his size or he could do excellent as an only dog. He can be calm and chill in the home and also if a dog does not want to play he can take the hint. - 13 months old and 48 pounds - Pit Bull/Heeler mix rescued out of a shelter in California - Good with cats! Has been raised with them and is also currently fostered with cats. - Fostered with kids ages 7 and 10 years old and does well with them. He would do best with kids age 7+ if there are kids in his future home. - Excellent potty habits - Cuddly and loves to snuggle up on the couch - High toy drive and loves to fetch and play tug! - Medium energy level and does best when he has the opportunity to run and play with another dog for a while. Then he naps most of the day. He will need at least 30 minutes of daily exercise (fetch, tug, flirt pole, running, or playing with another dog) to be most satisfied. - Very food motivated for training - Knows "sit" well - Working on crate training and he can do well in the crate and just fall asleep. He can whine and sometimes bark in the crate, however he does quiet with a verbal correction. But he would be best in a home without shared walls. His previous adopters never crated him and left him out in the home when they were away. He may do ok left out but we have not tested that. He's given treats to entice him to go into his crate and also fed his meals in his crate to continue building a positive association with the crate. - Sleeps in his crate at night and does well sleeping through the night. - Nervous in the car but doesn't get car sick. He pants and is antsy. His previous owners didn't take him on frequent car rides but we are trying to help improve his comfort in a vehicle. He would do best riding in a car crate for his comfort and safety. - Nervous about having a leash clipped on but does allow it. If you grab the leash he tends to walk away. We are sure that as he practices going on walks more and more he will soon realize that the leash means fun outings and he will come around to the idea. He is also working on his comfort level out and about the neighborhood on walks. He is not leash reactive and can pass other dogs and people without barking. He is working on pulling less and building engagement more with his handler on walks. Bow is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee also includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner clinics in Milwaukie, Portland, Tualatin or Oregon City. $150 adoption fee Fostered in Vancouver, Washington APPLY TO ADOPT BOW: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

Story
Koolaid is an gorgeous brindle baby doll pup who was rescued out of California and is seeking a happy adoptive family in Oregon. - Born on 11/26/24 and weighs 12 pounds at 8 weeks old - Mom dog appears to be a bully breed mix and we are happy to share photos and video of her. Mom dog is very people social and good with other dogs. We were told dad dog is a Boxer. - We cannot predict size at full maturity but we would estimate Koolaid would be around 60 pounds full grown. - Raised in a loving, safe, cozy foster home since birth. Given lots of handling and love by humans, started on potty training and crate training. Exposure to cats and other friendly adult dogs too. More information from Koolaid's foster mom about her personality: "She's sweet, outgoing, cuddly, easy going and playful! She's fast too! Zoom zoom puppy fast. She loves her crate, she just constantly goes in there if there's nothing to do and lays down by herself. So far she seems to favor the softer stuffy toys over the teething plastic toys." We are seeking adoptive families that are committed to socializing and training their puppy especially during the critical first 6 months when puppies are eager to soak up all the learning. We want to ensure our large breed puppies grow up to be well-rounded, socialized adult dogs. Koolaid's adoption fee includes two rounds of puppy vaccines, a microchip, multiple rounds of dewormer, spay surgery between 6 months to 1 year old and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. It also includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics. $350 adoption fee Fostered in Vancouver, Washington APPLY TO ADOPT KOOLAID ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

Story
Elijah is a handsome, tri-colored, petite older pup who was dumped with his litter mates and found as a stray in California. He was found with an injured hind leg that required an orthopedic surgery to repair. Elijah is making an excellent recovery and his leg doesn't slow him down at all - he loves to go on walks and get zoomies out! - Approximate date of birth is 6/3/24 and Elijah weighs 22.5 pounds. We feel he is likely full grown at this time. - We are unsure of his breed mix but guessed Chihauhua/Rat Terrier/Beagle. He would be a fun one to do a DNA test on! - Excellent with other dogs and fostered with a small, senior Chihuahua. Elijah is very polite with the other dog and has even gotten the Chihuahua (who doesn't usually like to play with other dogs) to play with him. - Medium to lower energy for a puppy and loves to chill and cuddle. - Sleeps soundly on his foster mom's bed each night and is a wonderful sleeper. - Likely fine with cats but we have not officially cat tested him yet. - No potty accidents in foster since he arrived on 1/12/25. - We would recommend kids ages 10+ if there are kids in the home. - Not reactive on leash and can quietly pass other dogs and people he sees. Walks fairly loose leash and doesn't pull much. - Really enjoys his chew bones. - Working on crate training and is learning it's an ok place to be. The longest he has been crated is 5 hours and when his foster mom came home he appeared calm and not distressed. - Loving, sensitive, affectionate pup who is eager to devote himself to a kind human! Elijah is vaccinated, microchipped, neuetered, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at on of our partner veterinary clinics. $350 adoption fee Fostered in Oregon City, Oregon APPLY TO ADOPT ELIJAH ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

Story
Halo is a very sweet dog. She loves our kids and us and when she gets excited her little tail starts wagging. She will bark when unkown people come to door. She likes to chase cats but hasn't hurt one. She gets along with our other dogs, but at times becomes territorial over her food and toys when my other dogs are nearby. I can no longer keep her and my English Mastiff together at any time. She cannot be allowed around chickens and or small indoor pets such as guinea pigs. She should be the only dog in a house due to uncertainty around other animals. If she was my only dog I would keep her as she is such a sweet dog to us, but unfortunately I can't keep her and my English Mastiff together. She is still in-tact because I cannot afford to get her spayed due to an economic hardship during the last year.
