Meet Sami!Sami is a sweet dog that is desperately looking for a home. He is an older boy who still is up for short walks and long cuddles. His favourite things are showing off his toys to his people, going for walks, playing a little fetch, and lounging on his bed with his chews. He would love to hang out in the yard while his people do yard work or gardening. He would probably be up for a fishing adventure as well. If you are looking for a companion , Sami may just fit the bill. Meet Ross 🐾❤️Ross is a handsome German Shepherd mix with a lot of potential and a heart full of love! 🐶💖 This active guy is looking for a patient, experienced owner who can help him shine with proper training and guidance. He's a bit "mouthy" at times (he loves to express himself), and can be selective with his dog friends, so he'll thrive best in a home where he's the only pup or with a carefully matched companion. With the right training and a little consistency, Ross is sure to be a loyal, loving companion who'll fill your life with joy. If you're ready to take on the challenge and help Ross become the best version of himself, come meet him today! 🐾🌟https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Black Brindle Weight: 37 Age: 1yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Miss Ida was recently surrendered to us, due to no fault of her own. She is an active girl, who could chase her ball all day long! A home that could provide her with lots of fetch time, would be ideal for her. Although Ida is coming into her senior years, she is still a very active girl, who has a need for speed. She absolutely loves her walks and, once bonded with her person, stays close during off-leash adventures. One of her favorite summer activities is definitely swimming, with her ball of course!Ida has lived with both cats and children, and enjoys her playdates with other dogs, especially her fellow lab friends! She has mastered her basic obedience skills and is a very good, easy girl, however she gets quite anxious in a vehicle and may be best-suited for a home that doesn't plan to travel with her often. If you would like to welcome Miss Ida into your home, please submit an application to the Shuswap branch through the link below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Chocolate Weight: 34.8 Age: 7yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Are you looking for a four-legged BFF?? A pooch who's totally in her "Happy Place" just being by your side?? A buddy to go on leisurely walks with and then snuggle up on the couch with?? If so, then I AM YOUR GIRL!! My name is Calla, my nickname is "Cutie Pie". I'm a Chihuahua weighing just 8lbs & standing a mere 12" at my shoulders. I'm 11-years young with TONS of LOVE to give! I'm not a complicated lady …..I'm searching for someone special to spend my future years with. A loving, kind & gentle human(s) who will keep me safe and love me to BITS! A quiet home with no other pets b/c truly, I don't want to share my person/people. I can be okay meeting other dogs, but growl at them. I haven't been around children ~ older kids might be okay but perhaps an adult only home is best. I love being outside and enjoy going for walks. I'm well-mannered on leash. I have access to my kennel at all times and, I like it that way ( the door is always open). I have my own room at my foster's home with my kennel, dishes and even a pee pad in case of an emergency. However, as long as I'm taken out at regular intervals, I am Golden! I don't mind going outside to do my business, I just need my person to set a fairly frequent schedule. I don't play with toys ~ "been there, done that". I'd much rather be where you are collecting as many pets & cuddles as possible! I'm in retirement mode so I do enjoy napping throughout the day. When I'm not napping, I can be found next to you ~ hopefully, cuddling!! When I do feel a bit frisky, I can be coaxed into doing a little "doggie dance" for you which will certainly make you smile! To sum me up..…….I'm a very sweet Cuddle-Bug who is looking for MY two-legged BFF! If that could be you, please apply to meet me SOON! In Adoration, Calla
