Attention: This is a courtesy posting only! This pet is NOT available through Mountain Pet Rescue.  Please do NOT contact MPR for information about the pet or apply to adopt this pet on the MPR website.  Contact Kathy at twangle@aol.com for more information or to adopt the pet.Brody is a big, strong, lovable goofball who loves people and needs an active family as well as space to run and play outdoors.  He particularly enjoys chasing a bouncing ball and bringing it back for more.  Brody is 4 ½ years old and grew up with two other dogs and two cats.  During the past three years, however, he lost his companions and, until recently, has been neglected resulting in some loss of socialization skills with other animals.  His foster mom is working hard to improve his manners and to correct this lapse by providing him with a three-week residential camp experience with professional trainers.  His trainers all agree that he has a great personality and going forward simply needs structure and consistency in his home environment. Brody is neutered, heart worm negative and is up to date on all vaccines.Contact me today at twangle@aol.com to learn more about lovable Brody! All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC. November 4, 2024, 12:25 am

Story
Let’s link up! I’m Link! I’m shy at first but once I warm up to you, consider me your best friend (and shadow!).  My go-to move is a biiiig stretch onto your lap, a quick jump up and boom… we are snuggling! I’m definitely a lap dog, and I love being close to my person. I’m playful, and I love my stuffed animals and prancing around the yard with them. I’ve been really enjoying the yard at my foster home! I’ve also been well mannered with the pups at my foster home and the toddler here. Going potty on the leash doesn't really work for me, so I need a fenced yard.  My foster mama says I have a sweet soul and the biggest heart.  Am I your missing Link? If yes, I can’t wait to become your best friend! Link is roughly 4-5 years old and weighs about 26 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $200.  All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Story
All smiles here, this petite pittie girl has a heart full of love and a zest for life! We're sure you'll fall in love with her as soon as you meet her.Dottie has a preference for female dogs, but would like to be the only princess in her home if possible. She has also been house and crate trained during her stay! But Dottie doesn't just limit her charm to female canines; she's incredibly friendly with people as well. She'll quickly become your shadow, eager to shower you with affection and be the best companion you could ever hope for. This girl still has pep in her step and a love for playtime. To keep her tail wagging and her heart happy, Dottie needs a semi-active home where she can get her daily dose of exercise. She'll motivate you to get moving and enjoy a more active lifestyle. She’ll also need some strong toys to keep her mouth and mind busy. Dottie is patiently waiting for someone to give her the loving home she deserves. If you're looking for a loyal, friendly and playful companion, then don't miss out on the chance to share your life with her. Give Dottie the forever home she's been dreaming of and watch your days fill with joy, laughter and endless adventures together. Dottie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all of her vaccinations, heartworm negative and has been on heartworm and flea prevention while in our care.  Dottie's adoption fee is $200.  You can apply to meet this gregarious girl at www.mpravl.org! Story
Hello there, I'm a 3yr old mountain mutt, and I'm looking for a new forever home. I've got a heart full of love and a brain buzzing with smarts. Learning new tricks? That's my jam! I'm not just intelligent; I'm a quick learner too. I'm all about cuddles and affection, making me the perfect snuggle buddy. My current family adores me, and I love them to bits, but sadly, my long hair isn't the best match for their allergies and asthma. But I know there's another wonderful family out there for me. I dream of a home with a fenced yard where I can zoom around to my heart's content. I do well with smaller dogs and am okay with cats, but I prefer not to mingle with dogs my size or larger. Are you looking for a smart, trainable, and affectionate companion? Look no further! I'm ready to shower you with love and eager to continue my learning journey with you. If you've got the space and the heart for a sweet girl like me, let's meet and see if we're a match made in doggy heaven!
