Story
Looking for a home for Scruffy. He is roughly 5 years old (unknown birthday, he was a rescue). We are looking for a new home for him as I am pregnant and Scruffy doesn't do well with little kids. He does well with other dogs, but he doesnt do well with cats or other small animals as he has a high prey drive. He likes to wander like huskies do so a fenced yard is highly recommended. We would be happy to do a trial to see if he is a fit for you

Story
Lila is a 13 year old, still very spirited Aussie/Border Collie mix in perfect health. I've had her since she was just a few weeks old and have always had the help of partners, roommates, and family. She typically does well when there's a lot of stimulation, people to be around, and lot's of exercise. I bought a house with a backyard but my work schedule doesn't allow for me to be home as often as she needs. Even with nightly walks, her anxiety of being home alone most of the time plays into her restlessness when I am home and worsens her reactiveness to other dogs outside of the home. It has become a stressful situation for us both. I cannot afford to put her in daycare, I live by myself, and don't have outside help as readily available anymore. Although she can display reactiveness to dogs (especially on leash) she is easy to calm. She can play well with dogs at the dog park and in the home. She is very sweet, will listen well, and is always ready for an adventure!

Story
Cocoa is a very loving and energetic dog who would thrive as an only pet or with another big dog. She is very playful and also has a high prey drive. She is not suited for a home with cats or small dogs. She needs an experienced handler to help continue her training with leash pulling. She loves to cuddle, play chase, and chew on bones. She is a great dog who has done well with our 10 year old daughter. We are rehoming as she is not safe with our cat and I am not strong enough to walk her

Story
Ziggy is an almost 6 years old loveable boy he is kennel trained, bell trained and house trained. He walks amazing on a slip lead leash. I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. About 9 months old noticed some reactivity toward children, other dogs and new people. He also resource guards bones and high valued chewies. I paid hundreds of dollars for 2 private trainers who said he is not aggressive but reactive. I have hesitated on rehoming him because I love him and I’m fearful people will not be understanding of his quirks and mistake him for aggressive. In my experience he has not been the dog park kind of dog. Extremely reactive toward other dogs. Unfortunately rehoming him seems like the best option at this point to improve his quality of life. He needs an owner able to put energy into his training and reactivity and I have not been successful thus far.

Story
Bandit is an 11 year old Jack Terrier. I will be moving to Spain in June and unfortunately can not take him with me. Bandit is an extremely lovable dog, who enjoys playing with our other two dogs, sitting next to me, and being petted. He is well behaved, loves people, is housebroken, but does not like being in a crate. Bandit does wear a body band in the house because one of our other dogs is female, and he keeps wanting to mark his territory. When Bandit was an only pet, he did not behave this way, nor did he when he lived with another male dog. Medically Bandit is healthy. He does have allergies but gets a shot every six months to control it. He is due for shots in February, and does have a dental issue. I will take care of both of these issues. Loud bangs and noises frighten him, especially fireworks. Bandit also did well with a dog door. With in a day I was able to train him to use it. He also needs to have a fenced yard to play in and do his business.

Story
Galaxy is 17 months old. She is tons of energy. She loves fetching the ball and will bring it back to you. She loves kids but needs to be trained to not jump up so much. We haven’t had enough time with our work schedule to train her consistently. She catches on quickly, though. She is an alpha female and very smart. She wants hugs and kisses over toys and stuff. We got her from a breeder that breeds purebred boxers. Clean bill of health. We keep her health up to date with flea, tick, and worm medicine monthly (Simparica). We get her groomed every 6 weeks.
