Story
We have a beautiful, blue nose pitbull named Kai who my husband and I would like to rehome. She’s chipped and her vaccines are up-to-date. She’s great with people and prefers to be outside more than half her day if possible so we’re looking for a person or family with a big yard or property and someone who is active and will walk her regularly. She would come with a huge kennel (she’s kennel trained for nighttime), a bed and a bark collar. We're having a baby, so we can only handle one dog right now 🙂 She’s potty trained, never goes in the house. She has a doggie door which she uses during the day. Again, it’s important that she has a yard or property that is fenced so that she can live her best life outside as much as possible. She enjoys some daily indoor time as well though. She’s spayed. She’s about 5. She lives with another pitbull, and they are best friends but she is dominate and would do best in a single dog home. She needs more training for walks.

Story
Meet adorable and active Annie! This Lurcher girl is between 5- 6 years old and was rescued by the American Lurcher Project. Annie weighs approximately 60 pounds. She is a very energetic girl and definitely needs a house with a yard. Annie is outgoing, intelligent and mischievous! Annie is food- motivated food and loves her blankets and playing. Annie adores her chin scratches and everything outdoors. She’ll make a great exercise partner as she digs walking, running and hiking. Annie needs a high energy adopter like herself. Annie lived in a very small apartment and even though the people walked her 3 to 5 miles a day, they just couldn’t wear her out. Annie needs to be an only dog because she is way too energetic for most other dogs and plays very roughly. Annie should not go to a home with children. She is a resource guarder and sees the children as competition for her things and food. Annie also has Separation Anxiety that had improved before the Pandemic but now that everyone is home all the time, she is back to square one. The owners did work with a behaviorist and some behaviors have improved. Bless her little heart, Annie likely has some of these issues as she was confined to a very small space all the time. Annie is such a great girl and really deserves a chance! Annie is very routine oriented and can be anxious if the routine is disturbed. She responds well to mental stimulation as well as physical. And that’s a great way to wear her out! Annie would be a great agility dog or some other activity that really makes her think. Miss Annie is ready to meet you at Greyhound Pets in Woodinville. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. For questions, please email Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com or for an adoption application, go to: https://www.greyhoundpetsinc.org/adopt/adoption-guide/. You really have to meet this outgoing and truly amazing girl!

Story
Three-year-old Elliot is in love with life - fun, upbeat, happy, outgoing and friendly. Elliot was rescued from South Korea and now looking for his second chance and forever home with Greyhound Pets in Woodinville. He is on the higher energy side and will need an active home and adopters who like to exercise him. Elliot is eager to please and very smart, but needs a leader to continue his training on manners (which we too are working with him on). He is elegant and agile, and so fun to watch him romp and play! Elliot gets along well with the other greyhounds, but we’ve not had him with other dogs. With slow-intros we think he will be fine with doggie friends. Elliot who is 7olbs, will need a home without cats. We are not recommending Elliot with young children as he can get quite exuberant when playing and might unintentionally hurt a child. Elliot would do best in a home with a fenced yard rather than an apartment/condo/townhome. Elliot is neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. Email Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com for an adoption application and to meet this amazing boy! You just have to meet delightful and darling Elliot!
