Story
Guapo is a lovable 3 yr old, 90-pound rescue from King County Animal Shelter, adopted over a year ago. He is full of energy, curiosity, and affection. When we first brought him home, he didn’t know any commands, but now he has mastered sit, down, place, and stay, thanks to his treat motivation. His recall outside still needs work, though. We have a cat in the house, and Guapo respects her space. He loves to cuddle and enjoys playing with stuffed animals, hide and seek toys, and chewing bones. Guapo is reactive to other dogs on a leash and needs further training. He has had positive experiences with off-leash dogs, but he has not been intentionally introduced due to his reactivity. He needs less stress and more time outside of a crate. Guapo needs an experienced dog owner who can provide consistent training, care, and outlets for his energy. He need someone with patience who understands his reactivity. If you think you can give him the loving home he deserves, please reach out.

Story
Remi is a friendly German Shepherd Dog who came to the shelter with her friend Rajah. Their foster says they are lovely houseguests. Remi is great at self-entertaining and will toss a tennis ball for herself for hours. She`s been good with children and has liked all people she has met. In typical shepherd-fashion, she sometimes has a lot to say when she sees other dogs out on walks. I did very well with a busy house and new (to them) people coming and go over the past week! They were very flexible with schedule changes which is great! Remi is happiest hanging with Rajah and her foster family in the backyard with some tennis balls or jolly balls. Remi and Rajah can be adopted together or they can be adopted separately, and the adoptions are sponsored. Please email frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org if you would like to meet her.

Story
Rajah is a gorgeous and friendly guy who has been great with all people and has also been good with children. He loves tennis balls and enjoys playing fetch. We can`t believe Rajah is still with us as he`s such a friendly boy and gets along with all people. He also settles well and enjoys napping with Remi. Rajah has been a great houseguest with his fosters. In typical German Shepherd fashion, he does have a lot to say when he sees other dogs on walks and he`d prefer to stay home in his yard playing ball. Rajah`s ideal home would be with a family who has a large, fenced-in yard where he could relax and enjoy play time. I did very well with a busy house and new (to them) people coming and go over the past week! They were very flexible with schedule changes which is great! Rajah can be adopted with his friend Remi or he can be adopted separately with a Sponsored Adoption! Please email frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org if you would like to meet them.

Story
Hello! My name is Zeus the Magnificent. I am a certified American House Hippo! Doc says I need to lose some pounds to get me healthy and help with my walking. I`m looking for a home without stairs as I lack mobility as I continue to lose weight. Obviously, I love snacks and am very food motivated. I live in a home with children and have been doing well with them after a careful and conscientious introduction. I can get overwhelmed when things get busy so I may like a more relaxed household. I love hanging out on the couch or lounging outside. If you are interested in adopting me, please email frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org.
