I’m in the unfortunate situation needing to rehome my beautiful dog. Please help me find a great home! Cody is 5 years old, Australian retriever/Lab mix, and 75 lbs. He is a very sweet, intelligent, and friendly dog! I was only supposed to foster him for a year, but my friend moved so could not take him back. We fell in love with Cody, but I am gone 14 hour days, and travel too frequently to give him the stability he deserves. Looking for someone retired or works from home (or part-time job), with the time to walk with Cody and practice his tricks. He’s used to being the only pet, looking for a forever home, with no pets, or small children as he’s less anxious and more relaxed at home. He’s a very smart dog, listens and doesn’t pull when walking. Recently completed dog training for anxiety/ resource guarding, which helped tremendously, so would love his next family to continue with daily 15 min training. Please come meet him and help us find his forever home ❤️ Thanks!

Story

Kobe is a 6-year-old Staffordshire Australian Cattle Dog mix who is fantastic with people and has a heart full of love to give. Fetch is his absolute favorite, and he’ll happily play all day, then curl up on the couch with you for a quiet evening, or maybe some belly scratches. Kobe is dog reactive on leash, and while he can do OK when one on one with familiar dogs, he easily gets overstimulated and needs close supervision. He also has a strong prey drive, and really would like a home where he can be the only animal. He can get a bit anxious if left alone for more than 4-6 hours. He's used to a hybrid work week (2 days a week home alone, with a sitter dropping in), so he’d do best with someone who has a flexible schedule or can arrange for a sitter to check in. Kobe has done nosework and agility for reactive dogs in the past and would be thrilled to continue either of these with a dedicated owner. If you're looking for an active, loving companion, Kobe could be the perfect fit!

Elmer is a rescue hound mix. I got doggy DNA on him I can share. He should be about 9 years old. He is a total couch potato and snuggle bug. He LOVES kids and women, but can be scared of some men. He is definitely scared of the dark and loud noises. I think he was abused in the past. He is very easy going and easy to take care of, but I travel too much for work to give him the schedule he needs. He is a typical stubborn hound dog with hound personality. Definitely critter fixated if he is running loose. Either a leash or a fenced yard is needed. He’s fine in a townhome or condo with 3-4 daily walks. Loves car rides. He will come with food, treats, toys, and flea meds, and harness/leash and some other doggy essentials. Not due for shots again until September. No health issues.

We got Cleo, a beautiful and happy 5-month old female husky, from our neighbor who got her as their first dog and realized that their life style did not allow them to raise a happy puppy. We were worried that it would get hard to train her as time passed by and she was being neglected, so decided to make them an offer to get and start training and socializing her as soon as possible. We’re currently in the process of potty training her and teaching her basic commands like come, sit, etc. She’s very smart and on day 4 she already learned "sit" and she’s already giving signals to go potty outside, although not consistently. We took her to the vet and did her vaccination. The vet did a check up and said everything looks fine and she will grow to be a beautiful 45-50lbs husky. We're looking for someone who's got experience raising puppies so she can have a good life! The adoption fee includes what we paid the neighbors to get Cleo, and the cost of vet visit, crate, toys, food, etc.
