Tango

Husky Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium)

Male, Young
Tacoma, WA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Tango has a more typical husky personality and Foxy has a more mildly nervous herding breed type personality. They do all the typical things huskies do, but at much less the intensity most huskies do. Breed familiar adopters are preferred, huskies are not for beginners but I have extensive Northern Breed experience and would consider these dogs oddly well behaved for huskies. Only hard no is that they have instinctual prey drive- NO CATS, most likely no small dogs. They lived with children their entire lives and do quite wonderfully with them. Above toddler age children would be best just due to their size. Exercise needs are relatively low, but they do prefer at least a small yard to lounge outside in. Crate trained. They are incredibly affectionate. None of that husky aloof behavior. If you want a cuddly duo, they are the ones for you. Embrace Transferrable policy. Tango has congenital hip dysplasia and has had one hip surgery. He doesn't need any day to day treatment at this point.

Story
Bonded pair of cuddly huskies looking for forever home. Foxy and Tango are 4 years old, 60#, fixed, vaccinated, insured, and full of love. Tango slightly prefers women and children and is an unintentionally selfish diva, but incredibly affectionate and sensitive at the same time. He's the more silly one, and the slightly more cuddly one. Sassy, will howl at you for love. He spends most nights on my lap. He never met anyone who wasn't his best friend. Foxy is smart as a whip, anxious, and motherly. She takes a little longer to decide a new situation isn't going to be the end of her, but in general is still pliable with some kind words and a tasty treat. Usually the things she decides are scary are inoculous like a new hard floor she's not walked on 😂 She loves to give kisses and they're some of cleanest, slobber free kisses ever. She slightly prefers men and adults. Sassy, will howl at you for her breakfast. She is the one who would need a little time to trust that new people/childr

Story
Gemma is a very sweet and loving dog, she's still young (2 years). She has the typical Beagle and Dachshund behaviors and she gets bored so she needs an experienced adopter especially one familiar with small hunting breeds. She does not do well in the kennel and needs someone to be home during the day or a home without cats where she can be out while she's alone. We did a trial run with one family who had cats and they didn't keep her in the kennel while they were gone and had no issues, however her cats were stressed out so they weren't able to keep her, that's the reason why we're rehoming her, she needs a home without cats and we have a few. If you have any questions let me know!

Story
Jackson is about 17 months old. he was given to my kids as a bday gift in Texas. We have since relocated to Washington state and was unable to find a new home for Jackson. Myself and kids are unable to care for him at this time given life has gotten busy and we are renting and can no longer afford to have him. Jackson is very playful and loves to run and play catch with the ball. Jackson has some crate training but is very smart and tends to do his own thing. I feel he can be redirected and trained if given to someone who has the time and patience with him. In all just looking for a good home where he will continue to receive love and attention.

Story
Shadow is a mans best friend. He is extremely loyal and playful. He is a high energy dog that will need someone that is either experienced with dogs or has the time to get experienced. He loves to play, he likes walks, going to the dog park, and wrestling. He is extremely smart and will learn commands easily if you put in the work. He has a bit of food aggression with other dogs that we have been working on but its not too bad. He isn’t bad with kids but he has to be eased in. He has to know they are friendly. Other than that, Shadow is the best dog I have had
