Story
Ray is a sweetheart seeking a loving home where he can spend his golden years. At 10 years young, Ray is housetrained, and loves naps and short walks, though he has some hearing loss. He thrives on human companionship and would be the perfect match for someone who appreciates life’s slower pace. My elderly mom is no longer able to provide adequate care for Ray; dog ownership has become quite taxing on her. Please give Ray the retirement he deserves – come meet this lovable boy today!

Story
Molly is an absolute sweetheart! She is such a loving and loyal dog. She loves to play, run, fetch, and be outside. When the day is done she wants to cuddle and lay by your feet. She is also one of the most adorable looking dogs ever. She is such a joy! We rescued her when she was 6 months old. She has been a good companion for our other dog and they have gotten along for several years. She has some anxiety issues that we attribute to her being a rescue. This causes her to get a little over excited at times and it presents physically. In a moment of excitement she has bitten our other dog. She otherwise has been perfectly fine in every other setting with other dogs in our family as well as in public and at the dog park. Molly also has a problem with small children. We attribute this to being a rescue as well and as a response to being anxious and scared. We have small children now and cannot take any chances. She would do great in a home with no other dogs or children.

Story
Moose is a Border Collie with some Australian Kelpie. Here are some important facts about Moose: 1) When adopted we found he was a rescue from the streets of San Antonio, TX. He was under a year but they do not know his birthday. Possibly 18-24 months old now. VERY playful with lots of energy. 2) We do allow him on our bed and the couch so he’ll need some retraining if that doesn't work for you. 3) He is terrified of steps and we do not know why. He comes in through our back patio door which leads to the main living area. It’s not a split foyer but is, confusing I know. 4) He can get bored and chew on things. He loves his squeaky balls to play with & bones but if left to his own devices he will chew on corners of furniture. 5) He is THE SWEETEST DOG. He thinks he’s smaller than he is. Just loves to be near people. He has the prettiest eyes. I just feel so guilty he isn’t living the fullest life he can with us working so much and extracurricular activities with our youngest son.

Story
Overall, Luna is a wonderful dog and part of our family, however she has some behavior issues that require us to seek a better home for her. In our house, she is wonderful with our young children. Full of energy, she plays well with them (although from time to time, her "zoomies" do knock our youngest over, but never intentionally). That said, she has not done well socializing with other animals/strangers. We can no longer take her on family walks because of her severe leash aggression when she sees other dogs. We have spent hours/money in trying to train her but have seen no improvement. Luna would thrive in a home that can give her even more time for training, but our family's resources are exhausted. We don't know how she would do with strangers at our house, and our attempts at socializing her at dog parks have not been successful. Luna definitely needs a home with an owner experienced in training her accordingly.
