Important Facts About KahluaDogs: Kahlua would prefer to be the only dog in his new home.Cats: UnknownKids: UnknownHouse-trained: Yes!Other: Kahlua would do best in a SFH, townhouse, or garden-style apartment. Are you ready to meet the coolest canine around? Meet Kahlua! Just like his namesake beverage, this pup is smooth, sophisticated and sweet. With a taste for the finer things in life, Kahlua knows how to appreciate the good stuff. When it comes to mealtime, Kahlua prefers the softest of foods. He`s a connoisseur of comfort and enjoys nothing more than indulging in a delicious feast. But it`s not just about food for Kahlua – he`s also a real toy enthusiast! He loves to engage in a good play session, and intends to keep curating his growing toy collection. And let`s not forget the most important thing – Kahlua knows he`s a good boy, and he loves to hear it! He thrives on positive reinforcement and will do anything to keep that praise coming. Now, while Kahlua is one laid-back pup, he`s not a fan of loud noises. He prefers the peace and quiet of a cozy home where he can relax and unwind. And when it comes to outdoor adventures, he`s more of a leaf-carrier than a stick-fetcher. Sticks may be too heavy to carry, but a nice, crisp leaf? That`s worth all the effort in the world! If you are interested in adopting Kahlua, please send an email to albauer@umich.edu to arrange an initial virtual meet and greet with the pet’s foster parent or a staff member. They will reply to you within 24-48 hours.

Story
Important Facts About Tetter TotterDogs: Teeter Totter lived with other dogs in his foster home.Cats: UnknownKids: UnknownHouse-trained: Teeter Totter is still young and working on their house training.Teeter Totter is a sweet baby with so much affection to give. He does silly kisses that are more like face boops and he’ll follow you around, curious about everything you’re doing. He’s still in the process of learning many things but he is very quick at picking up new ideas. He loves other dogs but needs slow one on one intros to them. Teeter is an active boy who will help you get your exercise or need a good place to get his wiggles out.Teeter’s favorite things are: Playing and gnawing a sturdy (but safe) boneBut he’s not so into: Long car rides, vacuum cleaners and adult male strangers (although he warms up quickly to any person who is kind)His special talents are: Sitting on cue and playing tug for hours! His perfect day would be: A big breakfast followed by a little play and a long nap and then an active afternoon with other pups. In the evening he has an hour or so of high activity and then so many snuggles! If Teeter was an ice cream flavor, he would be: Chocolate chip cookie dough, because he’s sweet and fun and a little surprising!Important facts about Teeter: 1. He has a pretty serious chicken allergy so you’ll need to read the full ingredient list of all food and treats because even non-chicken flavors usually have chicken byproducts somewhere in them and they make him throw up a lot. 2. While he’s mostly house trained he’s still a puppy and needs to be let out to do business every 3-4 hours for best success.3. He’s very energetic and gets along great with other dogs, but he can be overwhelming if they are smaller or lower energy than him.If you are interested in adopting Teeter Totter, please email westalexwildkingdom@gmail.com to arrange an initial virtual meet and greet with the pet’s foster parent or a staff member. They will reply to you within 24-48 hours.

Story
The foster has passed on some wonderful information that we`d like to share with you! `She is incredibly curious, loves to be around people and when comfortable she is very playful and puppy like! Sirius is very sweet and mellow. and enjoys lots of smelling during walks. She is very expressive and has good receptive skills, she can sit, do paw and when reminded she is able to stay and wait. Sirius does not mind sleeping or spending time in the crate while a person is in the room. We have been working on reinforcing calm behavior in the crate and sitting in it with the door open. Sirius is so smart and overall, a great dog.`She also sleeps through the night, walks really well on a leash and is just really easy-going in general! If you are interested in adopting Sirius, please send an email to dipadova.alyssa@yahoo.com to arrange an initial meet & greet with the pet’s foster parent or a staff member. They will reply to you within 24-48 hours.

Story
Important Facts About Gummy BearDogs: Gummy Bear lived with a dog in his previous home and is currently being fostered with another dog. Cats: UnknownKids: Gummy Bear lived with a child in his previous home. House-trained: Yes!Gummy Bear’s foster family told us: `Gummy Bear is a sweet boy who thinks he’s a lap dog. He wants to be with you all the time and follows you around. He is still an active guy, wanting to run around and play (especially tug of war). He would do great in a home with a back yard or with someone who will be active, running or walking with him. He was most interested in tug toys, a tennis ball and bones. He’s very interested in what’s going on outside and with other dogs. He sits, stays, shakes and will sit before he gets his food. When he’s home, he loves to snuggle right next to you giving you no personal space. When he lays down and gets comfortable, it’s almost impossible to move him. He also loves games, the snuffle mat or the licking mat.`If you are interested in adopting Gummy Bear, please send an email to april.awlafoster@gmail.com to arrange an initial virtual meet and greet with the pet’s foster parent or a staff member.
