Story
Snow (m) - a 3 year old, handsome white German Shepard boy. He is very friendly with people and kids and but reactive with other dogs, likely because has not been neuter. Snow will be neutered before or within 2 weeks after adopted through Sunshine's Friends.  He has been raised and currently lives with young children. He went to Academy Dog Training for two months and obeys commands. Snow would benefit from a large fenced yard and someone to play catch or Frisbee with. He is being surrendered to us because his family can no longer care for him. ##1645888##

Story
Chip (as in Chocolate Chip) is a super sweet 10 month old chocolate lab mix that found himself in need of a new home and family. His people gave him to a neighbor because financial hardship caused them to have to move in with relatives. The neighbor surrendered Chip to Sunshine's Friends. This cute little guy is gentle and good with other dogs and children. He likes cats too, but wants to play with them, and the foster's senior dog and cats are not up for his puppy playfulness. He is a smart boy and knows some commands. He will go to his crate when told and takes his toy with him. Chip enjoys car rides and walks and is leash trained. He has also been crate and potty trained but has the full run of the house after his romp outside with his foster. He likes company outside, and his foster thinks he is afraid of being abandoned. We think Chip is going to be on the small side for a lab mix. At 10 months old, he weighs about 42 lbs. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped and is ready to go to a loving home and be part of a family. We recommend training for all young dogs and a fenced yard for all but toy and small breeds. Please text Bev at 410-796-7327 if you would like to meet our boy Chip. ##2265057##

Story
Tonino or Nino for short is a sweet boy that will be by your side and do whatever you tell him to do. He aims to please and is a very easy dog who loves all people. He has lived with other dogs. He is a senior dog but has lots of life left in him and loves to play and go on short walks. He's housetrained and non-destructive. He's the easiest dog and just a love bug. Unfortunately I'm moving and he cannot come with. He will watch you cook, watch sports with you, go in the car or anywhere you travel. He just wants to be with you. And when you are not around, he is a good boy who lays on the couch waiting for your return. Tonino was born May 2013. Please give this guy a home. He has lots of energy left for the right family.

Story
Miss Charlie is about 6 years old and has been well taken-care of. Two years ago she had knee surgery and has been fine since. She is affectionate and loves to walk and play with her squeaky toys and talk by moving her mouth. I originally got her to be a companion for my other dog Hershey (chihuahua, Boston terrier mix) and they have been good friends. Charlie is very food motivated and will learn tricks motivated by treats. She only gets CET enzymatic chews that have kept her from having to have her teeth cleaned! Food is very important to Charlie and she will nip if she is shoved away from something she wants (like popcorn). She has never bitten hard. Until now, this has not been a problem because my grandson met her when he was 7, old enough to understand her food reactive nature. Now, however, I am babysitting my 8-month-old granddaughter five days a week and I am concerned about the tendency of a baby to pinch. She just wants to sit with you and be your best friend.

Story
Meet Clover! She is a 10 month old lab/shepard/mix that is spayed, crate trained and potty trained! She was adopted in Southern Cali at 8 weeks old. She now lives in Maryland. The reason we are wanting to rehome her is because she has shown "stranger danger" reactivity from a pretty young age. Clover also has occasionally shown some resource guarding. We have 3 young kids at home who she is good with but she has started fights with our other dog over food and we're afraid someone will get hurt. We really don't want to relinquish her to the shelter as she wouldn't do well there. If you're a dog savy person Clover could really flourish in a different environment. She chases our cats at home occasionally but not aggressive at all. She sleeps on our bed most nights and really is a wonderful girl but we just have exhausted what we can do for her and think she deserves a real chance!
