Story
Bit is the sweetest dog ever. He was a rescued puppy and has grown into a sweet, sweet dog. He loves to cuddle, give kisses and loves people. He is a very quiet dog and loves to lay around. I have been the proud owner of Bit for almost three years now and he has shown me nothing but love and affection. Unfortunately, due to working and living arrangements, I am no longer able to keep Bit in our home and need to place him in his new forever home. I will arrange a meet & greet prior to the adoption for all serious applicants to meet with Bit.

Story
Piper is a 4 year old rescue dog. She is a very kind and affectionate dog who loves people and our older dog. She struggles with anxiety, especially with separation and thunderstorms. She is a very loving, friendly dog, however she needs a lot of attention and large amounts of exercise. Now having 2 small children, and with our older dog less willing to run around with her, we are unable to give Piper the level of attention and exercise that she needs. She is not aggressive, however does tend to bark at unfamiliar dogs, especially on walks. We are hoping to find someone to give Piper the levels of attention and exercise she needs, ideally with another active dog for company!

Story
Ziggy is a wonderful active pet who is very loyal and protective of his owners. We purchased him as a (what we thought was a purebred puppy (Cockapoo) from the (now defunct) Dreamy Puppy Petstore in Chantilly, VA. We later learned in the news that the defunked Dream Puppy store was a puppy mill. We also learned that Ziggy had siblings at a few dog boarding places in Chantilly, VA. We once met Ziggy's brother (Scout) when we boarded Ziggy at a boarding place when we went on a family vacation. Ziggy has blended into our family (two adults, one college aged daughter, and one daughter (24 years old) with special needs (autism). Ziggy enjoys having his haircut (averaging approximately every two months) by Wendy from Strut Your Mutt. Ziggy loves to play fetch/catch with his toys.

Story
Theodore is 2 1/2 years old and I adopted him when he was six weeks old. He is a very loyal, sweet, loving, funny and intelligent dog who needs a good home. I can longer take care of him. I am moving and having some medical issues and can no longer take care of him, he has been a great dog and will be a great member of the family. He is very social and loves going on walks and playing with balls and frisbees at the park and will be more interested in fetch with you than playing the other dogs but we still like to say hi and play with them. He is ball and play motivated, but enjoy a good bone or the jerky treats. He does not like the dry dog treats, but loves to play fetch even more than a treat.
