Story
Hello, this doggy goes by many names, but he earned the name “pig” and that’s what he goes by. He sounds like a pig, eats like a pig, and smells like a pig haha. He’s a huge sweetie to everyone he meets and listens fairly well unless he catches a sniff of something during a walk. He was my grandmothers dog, but sadly she passed away in November last year. He is a registered emotional support animal, he loves cuddles, and will give you a handshake for a treat. He also sneezes on you when he needs your attention.

Story
Dewey's a friendly 5-year-old pit bull that I adopted in December 2020. Since adopting him, he's been an affectionate, playful, and loyal best friend. He can be shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly. He loves to run around with other pups, and he's great with kids! He's been trained with an e-collar and responds to fundamental commands like sit, down, place, heel, and recall (come). Like many pandemic pups, he does have separation anxiety and some leash reactivity, though the latter is well controlled with the e-collar. We've worked with trainers on these issues and Dewey has come a long way since we adopted him. The ideal home for him would be with remote workers and another dog companion, providing plenty of space for him to run, play, and nap. He currently lives in New Market, MD. Note for the adopter: I will cover costs for his food and any incidental vet visits for the first 3 months. I am rehoming Dewey due to a breakup and job loss; he deserves a great home!

Story
Say Hey to Amber. She is a 5 year old spayed Cattle dog mix. Amber came to us with her four babies Amber became very sick due to heartworms and was unable to care for them. The babies were bottle fed so we could treat Amber as soon as possible because that was her best chance for her and them. Amber went through two rounds of treatment and lots of meds. She just tested negative so now is her time to find a family to care and love her really that’s all she wants. She is housebroken. Crate trained. Amber prefers a calm house. She would love to be the only one but would be okay with a mellow friend. She really just wants to please you. Come meet this special girl today!

If you've been searching for a velvety 55 pound weighted blanket that has 4 long legs, pointy ears and unlimited smooches to give out, then look no further. Kimmy is an energetic couch puptato that loves to go on adventures, long walks, and play with her furry friends. She's definitely a pack dog and needs a fur sibling. Not cat tested but very prey driven in yard and on walks. She is searching for a forever home with a fenced yard, another dog, and older kids if any. Kimmy loves and protects her people fiercely but takes time to warm up to smaller children. She's a 4 year old Staffy that's house broken, crate trained and sleeps in bed under the covers. Put in an application today.

Story
Hello, My name is Blue and I am a beautiful 37lbs terrier mix, you will fall in love with my eyes. I am around 5 years old, am spayed, house broken and crate trained. I LOVE car rides, walks, cuddling and playing fetch. I also love kids and have undergone professional dog training so I am the bestest girl. I am currently looking for a home where I can be the only pet. While I love people, I don’t love other pets. My current foster family has pets, so they have to do this thing called rotations with me. They are trying their best, but rotations mean that family time is split between me and the other dogs in the home. While ½ of the time with my foster family is better then being at a shelter and getting no family time, foster mom tells me I deserve a family who doesn’t have to do rotations. I do admit, I like sleeping in bed with my foster family, it sure would be nice to have my own family where I could do that every night. If I sound like the kinda girl you could love forever, please let the rescue know! Thanks in advance! XOXO, Blue
