The name is Hoku meaning star in Hawaiian. Born on August 13 2023 and is now two years old. My family got him from this couple who breeds dogs in Pennsylvania. Hoku is part beagle and lab. Hoku is a dog that has a lot of energy loves to walk/run. He is not house trained yet so he has to stay in a cage when not supervised. If someone’s at home hoku is good as long as he’s been walked. He typically needs to be walked for 30 min to an hour at least 3 times a day. He loves to play and is good with other dogs. Overall Hoku is a very friendly dog. For those interested in Hoku I just wanna make sure that you are set on taking the responsibility. Making sure that he’s being walked, fed, cared for and is loved by those around him. He’s a very energetic dog that still needs a little bit of training. And I know this is a lot to ask but it would be better if the one who’ll take care of him has a backyard he loves the nature and is very energetic.

House hippo looking for a new home! Precious was rescued from PG County Animal Shelter in Maryland 11/21/24. She was going to be put on the euthanasia list. Unfortunately the pack in her new home does not want a new member and we are looking to find Precious a new home where she can shine. This prior mom, loves people. She wiggles when she sees someone coming. She would be a great addition to a family home or a single person. She loves snuggling with humans on beds and couches. Precious loves toys and playing fetch. She has not been destructive and just wants to be with humans. She does not guard food or toys. We can easily take things away from her. Precious is 3, UTD on vaccines and newly spayed. She is ready to go. She comes with a lion crate that she is working to love since she cannot be with people all the time, much to her disappointment. My foster mom says I'm great with other dogs, especially younger dogs because older dogs are just not into playing as much as I am! I love my cat foster brother too! I absolutely love going to doggy daycare on the weekends to hang out with all my friends. I never meet a stranger! I'm good with kiddos as well, but I like to wrestle and use my paws, so could scratch or accidentally hurt a little one. I'm proud to say I kennel well, can sit on command, sleep through the night, ride well in a car, am food motivated for easy training, and am potty trained. Hi my name is Curly and I have a great story to tell. I am a good boy that’s shy and unsure at first. People, car rides, and loud noises scare me. So I need a home that is quiet and 1-2 people at most would be best. I do great with other dogs, they bring me out of my shell. I know I’m not for everyone but I am the right one for the special person, who can work with me and go at my slow pace, who won’t get frustrated that the world is sometimes scary to me and I need time and help figuring it out. I really want to be loved and give you love, it will just take time, trust, and understanding. I am kennel trained, house trained, and like the backyard. Leash walks are not my favorite but I am working on that. Since I am scared, I like to be able to go in and out of my kennel when I am scared or just feel like it. If you want a special dog that’s not like everyone else, but will always hold a special place in your heart…. I am your boy! I have been around dogs and cats with no issues. I've also been around kids, but I prefer to keep to myself when little ones are around. I'm also crate and housetrained, neutered, heartworm negative, and have age-appropriate vaccinations! Hi, my name is Moe! If you are looking for a special dog, you are barking up the right tree! What makes me special is that life started out a little shaky for me and has left me more nervous and scared than the average dog. With time, understanding, patience, and building trust I will open up and be the best companion you could want! As the saying goes, I stick to the 3’s. I need 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks of a consistent routine and time to learn it & 3 months to start feeling at home. At first, I am more comfortable with other dogs and people really scare me, so I would do best with an outgoing friendly dog in the house to show me how to feel comfortable and confident. As time goes on, I get more used to humans but would do best in a single-person home or just a couple (too many people or a lot of children will be too much for me). I like my kennel and my safe dark space. I will come around and hang out more when I trust it is safe. I am kennel trained and working on being better with the leash.
