Story
I'm looking to rehome a family pet he is around a year and a half he will be two in March. Unfortunately, my backyard is not fenced in, and he really needs the yard to run. In addition, I have a young child, and he is so excited and tends to knock her over. He is a Male Alaskan Shepard yes, a beautiful breed but has a ton of energy! He has always been a family dog and has been around children and dogs his whole life. However, I had a previous meet up and the dog ended up biting Togo. Togo was afraid and could not run due to being on a leash the other dog was not. I am unsure now on how he would warm up to other dogs due to this incident but previously has been amazing with kids and adults. There are no health issues but would need his shots. Not neutered either.

Story
Luna is a sweet and loving 6 year old dog that we adopted into our family shortly after getting married in 2019. She was kept in a cage from the previous owners who got her from a breeder. We now have 2 kids and 1 of them is sadly allergic to dogs. Luna loves people and playing with other dogs. She’s energetic and playful. Luna likes playing tug of war and running around outside. She likes chewing stuffed animals and knows what ones are hers vs the kids. She gets allergy shots every spring and is kept up with vet visits. Luna is very loved, but with the busy work schedules, a toddler and infant, allergies and us hardly ever home during the week. We want her to go to someone who can give her more attention and love.

This is boy was a surrender along with his siblings at 6 weeks old. We only know he is a German Shepherd mix. He is very spunky and sweet. He would do great with a active family, they have a lot of energy. He likes kids, dogs, and cats. These babies miss nothing, they hear all. I guess anyone would with those ears.

Story
Penny Lane is biddable and intelligent. She enjoys learning (especially if there is a treat involved). Since arriving, she has learned sit, off, stay, come (good recall in a fenced yard), down, leave it (about 80%), crate, is learning to walk on lead (about 45%) and go to your place. She has been taught to wait at the door before darting out. She must do the same before she is let out of her crate. We are working on drop it when she brings back a toy. She is learning not to counter surf. She still slips up once in a while but it is more of a hey, what are you doing up there? rather than trying to steal something. However, like most animals, she can be an opportunist if food is left unattended. Given the proper amount of exercise, Penny Lane does have an off switch. She loves nothing more than to sit on the couch with you while you rub her all over. If you stop, she may paw at your arm to get you to continue the rubs. She is 100% housebroken and crate trained. We have much more info.

Story
Roxie~born~May 2013Special BreedI’m a diva. THERE! I SAID it!! And I’m proud of it! And I will LET you KNOW it! AND I will NOT STOP NAGGING you until I get what I WANT!! And I MEAN IT!! (My foster mom used to squirt water at me to “bring me out of it”, as she puts it, but now she just shows me the bottle, and I stop.)She squirted WATER at me!! Like I’m a CAT!! There’s a few of those here. I’ve let them know how I feel about THEM! Stupid things. When I got here, boy, I was MAD!!! For a whole WEEK I was mad! So mad that my foster mom gave me my OWN bedroom, with a screen door on it so I could get use to the other critters. Every time she came near me, I’d try to chew off her TOES!! She had to keep a leash on me so she could get me outside. And she had to pick it up QUICKLY, because I’d try to BITE her. But she’s really kind. And I was getting lonely, so I asked her politely if I could come out of my room and have her hold me. And, of course, she said yes (but she was a bit scared). She still kept my leash on me, just in case, but one morning she took a chance and QUICKLY unbuckled it. And I didn’t try to bite her.I’m from Florida. Oh, FLORIDA!! Where it’s ALWAYS warm…and sunny…not like Michigan, where it’s been cold and grey and rainy. I had a great life with my mom in Florida, but she died, so I went to live with her granddaughter here in Michigan. But she couldn’t give me the life she felt I deserved, so she was brave and gave me to PAAW so I could find another home. And I was SO MAD!!!It’s nice here at my foster home. I made some friends (but there’s another girl dog here that I don’t like, so I start fights with her). AND…I have a boyfriend! ooOOoo!! He’s a Yorkie. Like me. I still have my own bedroom . (Sometimes he comes in my bedroom with me, hee hee hee.) My foster mom tried moving my crate and my soft bed (it’s my very own, the one I had when I moved here) out of the bedroom, but I didn’t like it. So she moved me back into the bedroom. When I want to go there, I ask her politely (I can be NICE when I want to), and she lets me in. Sometimes I go in because I’m tired. Sometimes because I want to be alone. And sometimes because I’m in a BAD MOOD. And then I SULK! With my BACK to the DOOR! Sometimes when I’m in a bad mood, she sings my name to me over and over. And it calms me.I’m 10 years old. I don’t know my birthdate. I’ve had babies (cuz I’ve got boobies!).
