Story
Our shy, timid mutt girl. She’s a gentle soul who can be a bit anxious at times, but once she warms up to you, she’s incredibly sweet and loyal. She’ll need a patient and understanding home, preferably one that is calm and quiet, where she can feel safe and loved. She does well with other dogs but would need some time and space to adjust.

Story
Sweet and intelligent companion seeking a quiet home. Originally from NYC, she forms strong bonds with her people and learns quickly. Due to her city background, she thrives best in calmer environments. She's protective and can be anxious, but responds excellently to training. The ideal home would be with an experienced, dog-savvy individual or couple without other pets or children. Her new owner should understand canine body language and positive reinforcement techniques. With the right guidance, she can become more confident and relaxed. For transparency, she has shown protective behaviors when feeling threatened, so experience with reactive dogs is essential. In a stable environment with proper training, she can enjoy peaceful golden years.

Story
We brought Milo home at 8 weeks old. Milo is one of the sweetest dogs and really enjoys a good cuddle. This has been a really hard decision for us, we have put a lot of time, money and effort into him but I dont think our household is the best fit for him. He has a lot of energy and really needs to be in a home with land and somewhere he can be assigned jobs and just run around (especially in the snow). We do have another dog and a cat. My other dog is older so they just co-exist and get a long for the most part. Milo has gone to boarding and day care and has always done fine with other dogs there. He does enjoy chasing our cat around but has never harmed him. When he was a puppy he did try to herd kids we had him around and barks when he sees children, so we have chosen to keep him away from anyone young. Milo has a protective side but he means well. He gives the best hugs and even with all the energy, just wants to cuddle up at night.Would like to share more info about him!

Lily is about 2 1/2 years old, and she weighs about 55 pounds. This sweet girl loves people, and gets attached to her human friends very quickly. Lily knows how to sit for treats, and she enjoys going for walks with our staff. Lily can be grabby with her food and treats, so we recommend caution around small children while she's eating. Lily must meet any resident dog(s) in a potential new home, to make sure they get along. Here at the shelter, Lily seems to enjoy being around the other dogs. * Lily has chronic skin allergies, and is currently eating a prescription diet.
