Story
Honey is a year and a half old yellow lab mix. She is around 50lbs and is full grown. Her ears are almost like a basenji type breed ears along with her curly half tail. Her golden eyes will mesmerize you. Honey was found as an abandoned stray with another puppy. She is housebroken, walks great on a leash, and loves to cuddle and give kisses. She is a little shy when meeting new people but warms up with treats and petting. Honey knows how to sit and catch a treat. She is looking for a loving home to dote on her unique features and tell her how beautiful she is. Honey is learning how to explore her world around her and has taken an interest in sneaking to play with her toys when her foster family is not looking. Honey will sleep with her person all through the night and enjoys naps by the window. If you would like to meet Honey, please visit our website at hsdavie.org/dogs and complete an adoption application on her.

Story
Jax was found as a stray with another dog. He is a laid back kinda guy. Jax is looking for a forever home to help in settle in. He gets along with dogs, cats and older kids. He walks well on a leash and sits for treats. He does not jump when meeting new people. Jax is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He seems to be house trained. Your guess is as good as ours on his breed but he looks like shepherd mix. He's a lean 61 lbs. He is neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. If you would like to meet Jax, please visit our website at hsdavie.org/dogs and complete an adoption application on him.

Story
Howdy! My name is Jasmine. I am a German Shorthaired Pointer Mix and I am going to make you a wonderful companion. I am still a toddler at approximately 1 year old, so I am full of lots of energy and eager for you to teach me all sorts of neat tricks. My foster mom tells me that I am a super sweet, very affectionate, and smart girl. I already know how to sit and lay down on command, and I am housebroken. I like children once I get to know them, but it takes me a little bit because I am shy. I kind of like playing with my toys but would rather just hang out with you. I need to be the only dog in the house. I need someone who wants to play with me and take me on walks outside and doesn't mind getting a lot of doggie kisses and hugs. I don't make a lot of noise unless I hear someone at the door and then I will let you know before the doorbell rings. I like to snuggle up with you on the couch and be in the same room that you are in. I will also sleep at the foot of the bed if you let me. The vet tells me that I am in great shape at 45 pounds and that I am probably done growing. I eat fast, and my foster mom is trying to slow me down, sometimes she puts her hand in my bowl to try to slow me down, but I don't mind I just move it out of my way and continue eating until it is all gone. I can't tell you much about where I came from because all that I remember is showing up at my foster home and them taking me in and promising me that they would keep me until they could find a good forever home. I am getting spayed soon. If you're interested in meeting me, please visit the website hsdavie.org and complete an adoption application on me.

Story
Paul is a handsome one year old boy, with a beautiful brindle coat, looking to find his furever home! Paul found himself at the local shelter where he spent 200 days, injured and without a home. He has since recovered from his injuries and is making up for lost time. He has tons of puppy energy but is a loving cuddle bug when he's not running around. His foster family says that Paul is crate and house trained but pulls like a tug-boat on the leash. He will need to go to a home who have the time and patience to teach him leash manners. They also say Paul is smart, trainable and seems to have a strong desire to please his people. He would do best in a home with dogs his size and older children. Paul is move in ready and would love to find his people. If you are interested in meeting Paul, please visit hsdavie.org/dogs and click on his picture for an application.
