Story
Mocha is a very sweet, smart, and sensitive dog who suffered a lot of abuse early in his life, before I adopted him from a rescue shelter. He has been in our family since December of 2021. I have worked with two trainers, and he has made big strides. He is afraid of hallways and cars and used to not be able to move in between rooms. He is much better now, and does not race at every car when we are out walking. Unfortunately, he is unreliable about other dogs and people, and I am not able to let him be in the same room when my kids or I have friends over. He also loves to play with other dogs, but can get aggressive around people-oriented dogs like labs and retrievers. I can't let him off leash anymore, and have to keep him apart when other people are over. I am so sad, but I am not a strong enough owner for my dog. I am hoping to find a wonderful home where his quality of life will be better. He is lonely and spends most of his time alone, which is not fair to him.

Details
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Roxy was adopted by us about 3.5 years ago. She is approximately 4-5 years old. She is extremely affectionate and loves her people. She takes medications for anxiety and can be overstimulated and overexcited in new circumstances. She needs a home where she is the only pet and can have relative stability in her day to day life. A stay at home worker is something she would love. She has not been around young children that we know of. She has been through extensive training, knows many queues, is house trained, and has seen a behavioral specialist to help for her overstimulation. Roxy at home is the sweetest potato. We take her out on one walk and one leashed run around the yard a day. Most of the time she’s eating grass like a cow and rolling around. At home she’s the chillest thing ever. She wants to sleep with her people and will give you the paw sometimes for a scratch on the belly.

Story
Layla is about a 1 year old lab mix full of energy and love. She still has the typical puppy energy and behaviors, she is crate trained but can still bark a bit when left alone. She can be a pretty rough player with other dogs hasn’t quite learned manners even though we have tried to train her. so if you have another dog in your home they need to be okay with rough play or know how to correct other dogs. She can not be around cats as she chases mine and tries to bite at them I believe trying to play but its to much for the little cats as she could hurt them I’ve tried correcting this but she’s just to playful. Our work schedule have changed and we Are not able to give her the training or exercise she needs she needs a home that can give her attention time and patients with her. She would make a great dog for an active house who has the time to help her get all this puppy energy out she’s a great dog and a great cuddle buddy!
