Story
Riley is a sweet 3 year-old black lab mix who adores people and thrives on human companionship. She is loving, playful, and very affectionate. She is also happy to stay in her crate, is fully potty trained, and knows all her basic commands (she always enjoys sharing a good handshake!). She is very trainable - especially if treats are involved! - and she responds very well to gentle leadership and positive reinforcement, as she truly wants to please you. Riley is a wonderful traveler! She enjoys car rides, going on adventures, and swimming at Jordan Lake. Visiting the beach is her favorite! While Riley adores people and thrives on human companionship, she prefers to be the only pet in the home. She likes to play with some dogs if properly introduced, as she can be selective, but she mostly enjoys having all the attention to herself, especially if it means cuddling on the couch with her human. If youre looking for a playful, cuddly, and adventurous pup as your only pet, apply to adopt Riley today!

Story
Meet Tucker, the sweetest boy who's been patiently waiting for his forever home Since July 4th, 2021! He's a true survivor and despite what hes been through, Tucker remains a happy and go-lucky pup who loves to play, cuddle, and give kisses! Here's why Tucker would be the perfect addition to your family for sooo many reasons... After living outside for his whole life Tucker came to love being an inside dog and quickly mastered potty training in his adult years. This just shows how smart he is and eager to please! Not only that but he's full of love and affection he absolutely loves to give kisses and snuggle. He's a big fan of lap time and will happily curl up on your couch or even on top of you!Tucker also enjoys long walks and short runs. He has an adorable sashay walk that's sure to melt your heart! Tucker also loves playing with his furry friends and would thrive in a multi-pet household. Of course, every pup has their quirks, and Tucker's are pretty simple! He mainly would just prefer ahome without feline or tiny furry friends and isnot a fan of another dog sticking their head in his food bowl. While he will give the appropriate growl when this happens he has never shown any aggression. If you're looking for a loving, loyal, and playful companion, Tucker is the dog for you! He's been waiting patiently for his forever family, and he's ready to fill your life with joy and laughter! He's a truly special pup who deserves his happily ever after!

Story
This beautiful brown-eyed girl is Tipsy and she's ready to find her new family! Tipsy is 1-2 years old and right around 60 lbs. She loves everyone she meets - cats, dogs, and kids included! She can get a little rambunctious so she'd be best in a home with kids 8 and up and dog-savvy cats! She's already housebroken and does well when left home alone. She would love to go for walks with you, just needs a little fine tuning to remember not to pull too much! She loves to play catch and almost never misses a ball tossed her way! She's an absolute gem! Tipsy is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date vaccines!

Story
Hazel has really blossomed in her foster home! She has built her confidence daily and loves learning and exploring with her foster mom. She especially loves to play with other dogs and would do best in a home with a fur sibling. One of her favorite activities is running around her yard and then crashing on the couch with her foster mom for an afternoon nap. Hazel would love a large, fenced in yard of her own one day! Hazel is potty-trained and crate trained. She would love to find a family or experienced owner who will continue to work with her in feeling safe while exploring all her new life has to offer. Her foster mom describes her as the sweetest girl who loves kisses, hugs, and her stuffed animal unicorn Skylar, who she will be taking with her to her new home!

Story
Sweet Kiki is one of the best dogs! She is an affectionate little lady who just wants to show you all the love. She came into rescue with her puppies and now that they are grown, it's her time to shine! She has fun playing in the back yard with her doggie foster siblings, but her favorite pastime is being around her foster family and getting in lots of pets and snuggles. She is an extremely affectionate, medium-energy dog. She loves walks around the block but can spend a lot of her day snuggling with you on the sofa. She thinks she is a lapdog and loves to be close to her people. She will need proper and slow introductions to new people or guests entering the home. In her foster home, Kiki has been great with housetraining and using her crate. She walks happily on a leash and has been making progress on ignoring distractions she encounters outside the house (like squirrels or other dogs). She can still react to other dogs on leash, but also has been great off leash playing with other dogs! She can get nervous meeting new people and encountering new things, so she needs her new family to be patient with her as she adapts to their home and neighborhood. She learns quickly, as she loves treats and is quite intelligent. She has done well playing with dogs in a yard at doggie day care, but she is way too interested in cats for their safety. She has not interacted much with children. She enjoys a calmer environment where she can just relax on a dog bed or the couch. Kiki likes the indoor life and will be your Netflix buddy for those Saturday night binge-a-thons! If Kiki sounds like your kind of girl, fill out an application, she can't wait to meet you!
