Story
Odin, my 17-month-old German Shepherd Husky mix, is in search of a special home where he can be the center of attention as the only pet. He struggles with resource guarding around other dogs and has a high prey drive, so a single-pet household is ideal for him. Odin struggles with anxiety and takes prozac and trazodone daily. These prescriptions are both cheap and effective. Despite these challenges, Odin is a bundle of joy and loves nothing more than hiking and exploring the outdoors. He's a goofy-goober who will keep you entertained with his playful antics and affectionate nature. If you're an experienced dog owner who enjoys spending time outdoors and can provide Odin with the dedicated attention he deserves, he could be your perfect match. I am rehoming him due to the fact that I have a senior dog that Odin has had multiple altercations with. Odin is a perfect dog otherwise. He has been through a balanced training program and has a solid sit, down, climb, all implied stays.

Story
Wilson is such an amazing high energy dog who we have loved for the last year and a half when we adopted him. We are having to take relocate to help with my grandmothers care (dementia) and unfortunately he is too much energy for a someone who is high risk fall. He has been amazing with our kids and other adults. Particular with dogs, but loves a bigger dog to rough house with.

Story
This is a very difficult story to write. Today was originally adopted from the humane society when he was 1.5 years old. He is now over 12. My aunt is 70 years old, recently widowed, and blind. She lives in Oklahoma but is moving to assisted living in Colorado. She has a 12 year old miniature pinscher mix named Toby that needs to find a new home. We have exhausted all resources in trying to keep him in the family and we can't figure anything out. He will be moving to Colorado on July 27. He is a really sweet boy. He is very anxious and really loves his mama. He is in good health, but is starting to have toileting issues the older he gets....this might be because of his anxiety. He isn't a fan of other animals and is really slow to warm up to strangers. He is a sweetheart once he gets to know you.

Story
Max is such a sweet guy! He is a 7 yr old Great Dane who loves hugs and attention and will definitely let you know when he’s ready for more. One of his favorite pastimes is sleeping on the couch. Having a stuffed animal nearby is a must. Max knows “sit” and is working on basic commands. His leash skills need work as he gets very excited when walking past other dogs, but he loves to get out on a leisurely walk every day. Max came to the rescue with a friend who was adopted, so we think he will do best with a dog-friend in his new home. He cannot go to a home with small dogs, or chickens.

Otherwise, Gauge is a healthy boy and is ready for his forever home! Gauge would do best in an active home with another dog to play with. He is good with kids, too!
