Story
Meet Finnegan, a charming and lively 4-year-old terrier mix with a heart of gold. He thrives on walks, chasing balls, and engaging in spirited games of tug of war with his beloved chew rope. Finnegan is housebroken and crate trained, showing great restraint by not jumping fences, although he's curious and may wander through an open door if given the chance. While Finnegan is affectionate and eager to please, he prefers a home without cats and would do best without young children or elderly adults due to his boundless energy. Like many dogs, Finnegan can become anxious at times, which he manages by chewing; however, this behavior can easily be redirected with a stimulating chew toy or a comforting snuggle. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will keep you entertained with his playful antics and melt your heart with his sweet nature, Finnegan might just be the perfect match for your loving home.

Story
Ellie is very sweet with humans although I do not recommend having other pets in the home, she plays too rough. She isn't the greatest on a leash as she has been living on a farm most of her life. But she is smart and not too old to learn. She's got the funniest personality ever. She will make you laugh!

Albie is a fun loving playful dog who is looking for a loving home. We do not have the time or capacity to give him the space he needs to run around and play. Albie loves playing with other dogs and also loves snuggling up on the couch. He is 7 years old and is up-to-date on his shots. He is a mini-Australian shepherd and weighs about 40lbs. Albie loves walks and stuffed toys and will be your best friend!

Size

Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Keyser is a 2.5 yr old pure bread German Shepherd neutered male. We picked him up from a breeder in Missouri when he was approx. 10 weeks old. We had a Shepherd years ago and wanted to try another one. We are now living in a closer subdivision then previously and he is a Shepherd through and through. As in, barks at perimeter people and animals. This is what we listed as a "behavioral problem". He has become better as we have worked with him but we don't feel this is the best environment for him. The only health issue he has is that he has an overbite (has not caused any issues as of yet - teeth seem to be adjusting and not growing into upper pallet). Keyser is very good with children and we have another dog in our house. He is very playful still and our older dog needs to get a break from him from time to time. He is extremely loyal and protective of his entire clan (typical shepherd). All in all a good dog.

Story
Max and his littermate , Katy, were gifted to me for my 70th birthday almost 10 years ago (January) by my veterinarian daughter-in-law, Dr. Amy Goodnow. Max and Katy have always been together and I must insist that they be adopted together. They are both gentle , intelligent dogs who love to play with out grandchildren (8,6,4,2), play in the park with other dogs, play in our fenced-in backyard, and rest quietly on the floor near us in the evenings. My husband and I are moving into the new Morning Star Senior Independent Living facility in Old Town. While dogs are allowed, I don't think they would be happy without a place to run.
