I need an active and dedicated family with large, high energy dog experience.~ I am still learning and want to get off to a great start in my new home, so I will need to continue my training here. (Obedience Training Required)Hello there! I am still a puppy learning about the fascinating world around me. The shelter staff has been awesome and taking me on daily walks daily to sniff and explore, as well as arranging play time with a lot of my dog friends here. I enjoy splashing around in this really cool water bowl, although the staff says it's a pool, whatever that is! I LOVE to use my nose and am really good at nose games, so if you're looking for a dog to go on adventures with, I just may be your girl! The staff at CHS are so excited to see me find a home that they have decided to sponsor my adoption fee!

I need a family that has recently owned an XL Guardian breed.*~ I am still learning and want to get off to a great start in my new home, so I will need to continue my training here. (Obedience Training Required)This cutie is not your average puppy! Currently around 5 months old, this baby boy is still growing! We anticipate Bear will grow to be close to, or over 100 pounds. In addition to the large size, he will likely have a big personality to match! Having one parent be a Guardian/ Working breed (Cane Corso) and one parent being a Herding/ Working breed (Belgian Malinois) has made for an interesting mix! We will not be sure until he grows up what his true personality and behavior will be like, but a lot of positive training and socialization with help him learn great life skills! If you have experience with XL Guardian breed dogs and are looking for a new project, please let the adoption staff know!

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. SCOOBY is a big boy...at least 60#. His estimated DOB is 1/5/2020...so he is almost 4 yrs old. He is a very FUN dog and loves playing with other dogs but he is exuberant and easily intimidates smaller dogs. He would be a great companion dog for a large breed dog. He loves everyone and just wants to play. He has not had in-house training...in a shelter with lots of dogs, the big ones don't necessarily get the royal treatment. He has been leash-trained and loves to go on walks. After he get rid of the initial excitement about going out, he walks gently on the leash. I do not trust him with a cat. If it runs, he will chase. He sees them as lots of fun. Scooby would be great with a family with older children. Smaller ones would probably get knocked down during playtime. He needs a home with large back yard, I would not recommend him for an apartment. Check out our YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/KD9BUCFmQCs This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
