Story

We adopted Jessy from a Petco Adoption event when she was 4 months old. She is currently 6 years old. We think that Jessy would flourish in a quiet home that does not have a lot of people going in and out. She sometimes gets nervous and is afraid of strangers which is stressful for both her and the family because she barks when she is nervous. We would describe Jessy as fun (as long as she is around her family), and sweet. She loves to get brushed, but does not like going for walks as she becomes afraid. She is gentle with children and is not a threat. She is also house-trained.

Story

Otto is the perfect mix of a playful puppy and a distinguished dog. He was rescued from the side of the street in Puerto Rico by his amazing foster mom there. He loves playing and running with anyone that has the energy to keep up. His Puerto Rican foster mom would run 5-miles with him every day to help him get his energy out and to keep him occupied because he really wanted to chase her cats. We do not recommend a house with cats but he is great with kids, adults, and dogs of all sizes. At his current foster family, he runs in the fenced-in yard with his foster brother. He knows basic commands but his curiosity does get the best of him sometimes. Otto is incredibly smart and is truly the perfect size companion. If you love him he will never leave your side, in the best way possible.

Story

Diesel is such a sweet boy, but my family dynamics have changed and we cannot give him the attention and time he needs. Diesel loves cuddling and is very affectionate. We've had him since he was about 4 months old. He is a pure GS with his breed of record certificate. He is an active dog, and sometimes thinks he's still a puppy. He is completely housebroken with no accidents since he was a pup, this could be due to having him on a schedule. He is smart! His high intelligence should not go to waste, keep him engaged or he will find unproductive ways to keep himself occupied. This has been a 2 year battle of going back and fourth with rehoming him as he is the perfect dog, he just deserves a family to give him the time and attention we can no longer provide for him.

She was born on 12/21/2023 She will be ready to move into her forever home by Valentines! She will be dewormed as well as have her first round of vaccines. I can provide any additional information. Her mother is Cane Corso mixed with Husky and her father is a pure bred Golden Retriever so she will be a really big dog. I’m Tamale! I’m about two years old. My rescue thinks I’m a chihuahua mix. Since I’ve arrived at foster care in May 2022, I’ve learned so much! I know how to sit, “touch,” lie down, and come when called. I’m very curious and loving. I love to play fetch and tug. My favorite thing to do is chew on a toy until I fall asleep on my foster’s lap. I love cuddling! I'm living and thriving in my foster home with another female dog! We play and even cuddle on the couch. In my previous foster home, I was pretty stressed by the resident cats. I would do best in a home with no cats and no children. I’d love a home where I can go on long walks in the woods and play ball. I also enjoy car rides. I love hiking with all my dog friends in a big group! I have a ton of love to give, I just need a family of my own. Please apply if you want to be my family.
