Story
With heavy hearts, we are seeking to rehome our dog, Romeo. He is such a sweet cuddly boy, and our best bud. He fetches and is great on long hikes! However, since he was a puppy, he has had serious resource guarding issues. If he had a bully stick he would protect it at all costs and would bite if you tried to take it away. Same with food. We sent him away for intensive training and now he is incredibly well trained. Unfortunately, Romeo still has some aggression, mostly related to protecting our family (we have two young children). We do not have any fears with Romeo around us or are children, but his protective behavior is becoming too difficult for us to manage especially because we live in a school neighborhood with lots of kids and dogs. We think he would do great in a situation with less commotion, with owners who want a great companion but who are committed to meeting his needs and are comfortable training and managing dogs with guarding and protective aggression.

Bleu is a 1 year old German Shepherd with lots of energy. He loves to play and loves to be loved on. He's a very good guard dog (he's a working line German Shepherd).
