Story
Precious Hank is desperately waiting for his forever family. He has had a rough start in life, being abandoned & left wandering the streets. He was picked up & brought to a local shelter. His time there was limited so we pulled him & the rest is history. Hank is 5 years old, very sweet & affectionate. He loves to cuddle up on the couch. Hank has a wobbly gait & limited mobility due to having a spinal condition, T3L3 myelopathy. This condition does not stop him from having fun, however, he requires the Help Em' Up harness to give him more support. Hank can enjoy short walks. He also requires daily pain medication. Hank is up to date on vaccines, neutered, & healthy. Hank gets along with doggies, but needs to be with dogs who will not be overly playful due to his spine. Hank also gets along with kitties as well, but needs to eat separately from animal siblings. Hank would do best with older kids who are respectful. Hank is located In NY. transportation will be provided. Please send an email to fanabalasanctuary@gmail.com for an application. * INDOOR HOME ONLY.

Story
Meet King! This playful dog is currently undergoing AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) training to become a literal `certified good boy.` While he has lived with children and enjoys their company, his excitement can sometimes make him a bit jumpy, so supervision with younger kids is recommended. Although he hasn’t lived with other dogs, his enthusiasm may overwhelm them at times. King is crate trained and staff and volunteers are dedicated to helping him master the skills required for his CGC certification. With continued training and socialization, King is well on his way to being an even more well-behaved companion!

Story
Hi there, I’m Stamp! I’m an energetic and spirited pup looking for an active and patient home where I can channel my energy into fun activities and learning. Training classes would be an excellent way to help me settle in and be the best version of myself. I am pushy with other dogs and may do best as the only dog. I can be a bit protective of my food or toys, so working with a qualified trainer will be important to help me feel secure. Due to my high energy and lack of manners, a mature home is strongly recommmended and no apartments please!

Hi I`m Peaches! I`m an energetic dog who can sometimes be a bit mouthy or jumpy when excited. I`m incredibly treat-motivated, which makes me eager to learn! I may do best in a mature home. I am pushy with other dogs so will need slow and respectful introductions and may do best as the only dog. I may be protective of my food and/or toys, it`s recommended I work with a qualified trainer.
