Story
Leo has been a loved member of our family since 2020, when we adopted him as a 4 month old puppy. He loves hikes, playing fetch, napping the day away, and devouring his peanut butter kong. Leo listens very well (when he's not distracted), is very food motivated, and is well trained. He is eager to please and would love to learn new commands. We need to rehome him because we realized, shortly after our son was born, that Leo has anxiety around young children. Now that our son is toddling around, Leo is quite anxious and is constantly moving around the house to avoid our son. We want to rehome Leo so he can live in a place where he feels comfortable. Leo is a sensitive, loving, and sweet dog, who would do very well in a home without kids. He is e-collar trained and is eligible for lifetime follow-up obedience training sessions at The Loyal Hound in New Hampshire. Leo would love a yard but would also do well in an apartment if he was taken for a walk a couple of times a day.

Story
My dog midori is a beautiful, happy, lovable rescue puppy from Virginia. She is now almost 3 years old loves to snuggle up in a blanket, depending on what’s on the tv she will watch with you and is absolutely obsessed with any kind of ball. We love Midori so much but as a single mom of two I can no longer continue to care for her in the way she needs and deserves.

Story
Nuno is a short haired German Shepherd (Pure Breed )Nuno was brought to me straight from Germany, at 4 mths old. He was born in 2020. Nuno is fully house trained. He attends Obedient training every couple of months. Nuno is a happy energetic German Shepherd. He loves long walks. Any kind of water he can get himself into. Nuno will never bite the hand that feeds him, but he will nip at anyone he doesn't know. Nuno tolerates toddlers. Only because little humans tend to be unpredictable. Nuno only interacts with family. It will take a little time and patience in order for Nuno to open up to anyone whom is not familiar. Nuno loves playing with balls, doggie toys and other dog, but unfortunately other dogs tend to bark at him or sometimes act aggressively towards him, but he just wants to play. Nuno is very loyal. He currently lives with 3 humans. A young woman and a teenage boy. He watches over them like a sibling. Nuno is not a barker. Only if something is wrong. Nuno is a good boy.

Story
This is Ghost, our 1 year old pitbull. Hes a sweetheart, quiet and super affectionate. Unfortunately, I am allergic, and Ghost does not get along with our two cats. On top of this, we’re moving in September and won’t be able to take him with us. So we’ve made the tough decision to find our boy a new home. Ghost is UTD on his shots and will come with his crate, leash, food bowls, harness, toys etc. He has a good amount of training, and seems to excel with it. Hes very food motivated which is great. He knows sit, down, heel, stay, touch, paw and more. We will be asking for a small rehoming fee to ensure he gets a good home. If interested please reach out with any additional questions. Thanks!

Story
Riley is the sweetest Golden retriever mix. He is 1Y8M and he was found in a trailer park in Alabama as a stray. He has been in MA for few months. When he first arrived he was afraid of the leash as we believe he was never on one but now he is a total pro! He loves his walks and meeting other dogs. Incredible with other dogs, people, kids and so far even some cats! That surprised us as he does have a high pray drive for rabbits and squirrels but then again which golden retriever doesn’t? When he is not playing with his friend Pippa, you can find him cuddling next to you. His other favorite pass time is playing fetch! That he can do for a long time for sure 😃 He is looking for an energetic and active person or couple who can give him the exercise he needs. A fenced yard is a requirement for this young fellow If interested please apply on www.legacyrescue.org/adoption
