Story
Fable is a 1yr old cattle dog from Mississippi who has lots of lovable energy. She tends to be timid on walks so exercise becomes challenging since I have limited space for her to run and plays She does great with my 4yr old daughter and shares a space with a toy poodle who she gets along perfectly with. I believe fable would do great in a home with a large yard that she can run around in and possibly another dog her size to help release all of her energy.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. PittieLove Rescue, Inc. a 501c3 orgainization is an all-volunteer, foster home based rescue. Adoption Fee: $450 Our information is current if you are interested please fill out an adoption form here http://www.pittieloverescue.org/adoption-application It is the easiest way to start the communication and adoption process. Meet Maggie! This 2-year old house panther came to us from our friends at a local animal shelter after being found as a stray. We’re shaking our heads as to how this playful and snuggly midnight princess didn’t have a home. Maggie can be a little shy at first, but is a friendly and active youngster who loves all dog toys, but reallllly loves squeaky toys (though she destroys them with gusto!). This shady lady, with the BEST espresso coat, wags and wiggles when she meets new people, but isn’t a fan of loud city noises. One of her favorite pastimes is snuggling on the couch, or in bed…she just wants to be close to her human all the time and basically sits on top of her foster mom at any opportunity.   Maggie loves the water and will submerge her whole body into it (but hasn’t actually swam). She’s great in the car and either looks out the window or lays down in the backseat. She’s a loving and velvety raven pooch who just needs a home to call her own! Maggie is basically a big puppy and is working on some basic manners like jumping and counter surfer. But is making strides in a short time and would just need a forever family who will continue to work on the basics. She is currently in a foster home in Boston and we have discovered the city has stressed her out, so she’s looking for a quiet place to settle. And while she did great on her dog tests, she has gotten a bit more stressed out by some dogs in the city. Whether that’s due to the stress of city living or is just who she is remains to be seen. Because of this, were looking to place her as an only dog, but she has so much love to give, she’s all you need! Due to her size and a lack of history, older kids would be best for this smoky gal. Introducing Maddox! This young meatball with the massive noggin came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after being found as a stray.  Thank you to amazing foster Karyn for jumping right in and giving this youngin and his enormous head a safe space to decompress. Have we mentioned how large his dome is?   Besides having the most ginormous noggin around, Maddox is also beyond sweet. He makes the most adorable eye contact as he leans in for head and chest rubs and will sit there all day as long as the rubs keep coming. He is still a youngster, though, and thoroughly enjoys romps around the backyard with his Jolly Ball as well as long leash walks through the trails. Maddox is perfectly polite in the car, hunkering down into the backseat and occasionally peeking up to see what’s going on around him. If you’re looking for a buddy to play fetch with, Maddox is your guy! He is a superstar fetcher and will almost always return the ball right back to you. This sweet boy is just a big goofy puppy who wants to be with his people. Introducing the pumpkin patch! These eight roly poly bundles of sweetness are finally ready to find families of their own! Mom, Pumpkin, came to us from Boston Animal Care and Control, massively pregnant after being found as a stray. Most incredible foster Corey and her family assisted sweet Pumpkin bringing these little bite sized cuties into the world and raising them until they were ready for their very own foster homes! It takes a village, and boy did that village turn out for these babies. They’re all thriving in their foster homes, learning the ins and outs of how to become the best house hippos they can be! As with all of our puppies, we will require proof of training enrollment at an approved facility prior to adoption.
