Story
WOW! What a beautiful boy! Willet  is an orange roan 30 lb. neutered male Brittany born 4-17-23 and is AKC Registerable. He is heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccines.  He will be due vaccines again in July 2024.  In the Southern Summer heat, he has learned to enjoy cold ice cubes and loves them! Willet is housetrained and extremely affectionate. Even though Willet is affectionate and even tempered, he will only be adopted to a home with older considerate children. He has never bitten a child, but younger children make him nervous. Willet wants to be by your side constantly, but he also loves to be outside investigating.  His foster mom crates him when he is left at home alone and when he sleeps at night. He likes to speak, but he doesn't just bark for the heck of it!  In his previous home, Little Willet had to have surgery because he chewed up and ingested a blanket. He will do best, at least initially, with no bedding or plush toys which he can ingest. Willet's foster mom calls Willet is a snuggle bug! This smart boy has had some obedience training and knows basic commands. His foster mom is working on other commands. Willet came from a loving home and is very well socialized. Do you think your home is the perfect home for Willet?  Submit an adoption application at https://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application Willet's adoption fee is $400 to offset vetting and allow NBRAN to keep rescuing Brittanys.  For more information reach out to Suzanne Horsley ztasuzanne@gmail.com or Debbie Tuthill agilitybrits@epbfi.com  July 14, 2024, 10:08 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. PittieLove Rescue, Inc. a 501c3 orgainization is an all-volunteer, foster home based rescue. Adoption Fee: $450 Our information is current if you are interested please fill out an adoption form here http://www.pittieloverescue.org/adoption-application It is the easiest way to start the communication and adoption process. Meet Maggie! This 2-year old house panther came to us from our friends at a local animal shelter after being found as a stray. We’re shaking our heads as to how this playful and snuggly midnight princess didn’t have a home. Maggie can be a little shy at first, but is a friendly and active youngster who loves all dog toys, but reallllly loves squeaky toys (though she destroys them with gusto!). This shady lady, with the BEST espresso coat, wags and wiggles when she meets new people, but isn’t a fan of loud city noises. One of her favorite pastimes is snuggling on the couch, or in bed…she just wants to be close to her human all the time and basically sits on top of her foster mom at any opportunity.   Maggie loves the water and will submerge her whole body into it (but hasn’t actually swam). She’s great in the car and either looks out the window or lays down in the backseat. She’s a loving and velvety raven pooch who just needs a home to call her own! Maggie is basically a big puppy and is working on some basic manners like jumping and counter surfer. But is making strides in a short time and would just need a forever family who will continue to work on the basics. She is currently in a foster home in Boston and we have discovered the city has stressed her out, so she’s looking for a quiet place to settle. And while she did great on her dog tests, she has gotten a bit more stressed out by some dogs in the city. Whether that’s due to the stress of city living or is just who she is remains to be seen. Because of this, were looking to place her as an only dog, but she has so much love to give, she’s all you need! Due to her size and a lack of history, older kids would be best for this smoky gal. This lightly frosted faced tripod came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after being found as a stray. HUGE thanks to amazing foster dad Alex for swooping right in to get this little lady out of the shelter when her foster fell through last minute. Hattie girl is every bit as sweet as she is adorable. She’s an easy keeper- she’s mellow mannered, loves belly rubs and coexists peacefully with her four-legged foster brother. Being a tripod, Hattie doesn’t require a lot of exercise, but she gets along quite well on her remaining three legs, jumping right up on the couch to give her foster dad kisses of thanks! This sweet little lady is proving to be quite a velcro pup- she loves nothing more than a soft, warm lap to snuggle in and to be showered with well-deserved pats and kisses. Are you and your family looking to add the sweetest, slightly frosted love of a pittie to your life?  Sweet Hattie will be patiently waiting to meet you! This sweet little sip of springtime came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Control. Massive thanks to PittieLove foster Noah for giving this squishy lady a safe space to land. Sweet Mae did not have the easiest start to her rescue life- as a stray this poor little nugget was sprayed in the face with pepper spray for no reason at all. Despite all she has been through, Mae is a lover! This little girl has never met a stranger and bursts into whole body wiggles when she meets you. When she’s comfortable with you she may even share her little smile . Like any young dog, Mae is working on her manners including not excitedly ushering her person over to greet anyone and everyone while on leash. This gorgeous chocolate girl is as snuggly as they get! She often forgets that she isn’t a 10lb lapdog and will crawl as close as she can get for maximum cuddling potential. Mae loves other dogs and would love a good wrestle buddy. Because of her propensity to chase squirrels and other small wildlife, she says no thank you to kitty siblings. If you and your family are looking to add a pup who’s every bit as adorable as she is loving- don’t fret! Mae is waiting patiently to meet you!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.www.pittieloverescue.org Please consider a donation so that we may continue the important work we do. Ladies and gentlemen, you may want to take your sets for this one. Introducing Roo Roo! This adorable cutie pie came to us from our friends at Lynn Animal Control. Huge thank you to amazing PittieLove foster Karyn for doting on this little guy while he searches for his forever family. Roo Roo’s name is befitting- he plays and runs with the sweetest kangaroo like hops! Despite his young age, Roo Roo is an old soul. He’s crushing the potty-training game and already knows sit, down, touch and stay! This star pupil, like all our puppies, will require proof of enrollment in an approved positive reinforcement training program prior to adoption. Little Roo is a stellar work from home companion- he is perfectly happy to snooze on his bed while his human earns the dog biscuits. This squish face adores other dogs and is learning to respect his feline foster sister's space. If you and your family are looking to add a quick learning, all around adorable puppy to your life- look no further. Hop straight on over to fill out an application. Introducing Radley. This jet-black handsome fella came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after being found as a stray. Huge thanks to  new fosters Jessica and Yancy, and their sweet pittie Spruce, for springing this young boy out of the shelter and allowing him to stretch his legs in the country. Radley is the definition of a young pittie- he’s loving, goofy and lives to make his people happy. He loves going on walks with his foster family but always ensures that there is a warm body to snuggle up with after for a nice nap. Radley’s a quick learner and boy will he work for food, especially peanut butter! When he needs to go out to do his business in the morning he alerts his family with a cute little woof. He can often be found cruising in the family car with his adorable little nose out the window air surfing. Have we mentioned yet how cute he is?  Sweet Radley says yes please to a compatible canine sibling, and sure! to older two-legged siblings- as a big, young pup he just doesn’t know his own size and may bowl down little ones. Are you and your family looking to grow by one adorable and super sweet young pittie?
