Story
Loki is a very energetic, very smart, very attached 1 year old purebred German Shepherd puppy. Unfortunately, Loki doesn't get along with our other dog and it is causing a stressful living environment for both dogs. He would thrive in an only dog household and with someone who is experienced with working breeds. He loves going for walks, playing fetch, and especially loves using his nose to find hidden treats. He did do a 3-week bootcamp so he is fairly good on commands/recall but would benefit from continued training. And even though he is a high energy dog, when it's time to settle down there's nothing better than him resting his head on your arm at peace.

Story
Kane was giving to me from a friend who owned mom and dad. Didn’t know mom wasn’t fixed and came along babies. He has been with us since he was 2 months old. Karen’s birthday is 3/8/22. Kane is a sweet boy. Lives his cuddles and kisses, a good blanket, and to be loved on. Kane is very nosy; he follow you everywhere. He needs home that will love on him and take lots of walks.

Story
Tokyo is 2 years old, his birthday is Jan 6, 2023. He's a loving and playful pitbull. He jumps to new people out of excitement, he loves to play catch the ball and he also loves to run and play chase with our family. He is allergic to BLUEBERRIES but other than that he eats all kinds of food that dogs can eat. He is very hyper. Whenever our family comes home from work and school, he get super excited. He tends to whine when excited, and when needs to use the bathroom or if he sees something that he wants to engages with or play. Other then that Tokyo is a full blown toddler that requires space to run and play and just be himself. I live in an apartment building 2bedroom, hardly any room for him. He's also to big for me to maintain. Also, because of my landlord I can't have him much longer. Please help me rehome my big boy Tokyo.

Story
My 19 year old adopted him from a nice lady in my area becaise they needed an emotional support animal and all of a sudden he's becoming extremely jealous of other animals and people that talk to them. I definitely think he needs an experienced owner to take him in as I think he'd benefit from that as well as being the only pet. Unfortunately he doesn't get along with our cats and I can't risk that for them. He's overall a super sweet dog I just don't think this is the right household for him. He likes to cuddle, loves stuffed animals, blankets and tennis balls. As my 19 year old has health issues that are getting worse, we feel that Jax would benefit from a single pet home that can spend more attention on him. He is also high energy. My daughter has arthritis and it's getting difficult for her to take care of him, that is why we feel it's best we re-home him. I think Jax would benefit from having a fenced in yard as ours is only partially fenced in.

Story
**My adoption fee is waived thanks to the generosity of a donor.** Chencho5 years oldAmerican Bully Have you ever dreamt of having your very own house hippo? Well dream no further! Chencho is the chunkiest house hippo on the block and is ready to dazzle you with his ample good looks and charm. This large couch potato would make a great companion in a variety of households as long as there are plenty of scritches available for him! He is not a fan of sharing his favorite things, so he would do best in a home without young children. He might be able to live with another dog with plenty of management. Chencho seems to have some allergies so it will be important to have a close relationship with a veterinarian to keep him feeling his best. Regardless, he promises to wiggle his way into your heart in no time! If you think you are a good fit and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
