Story
Hey there, I'm Tony. Life hasn't exactly been a walk in the park for me, but I'm hoping to find my slice of canine paradise. I'm a handsome guy, with a heart as big as New York City! I was once a lone ranger, navigating the bustling streets with nothing but my wits and instincts. Found as a stray, I've faced my fair share of challenges, but they've only made me stronger. I've had a bit of rough start to life, but I'm tough and my resilient spirit shines through every day. Yeah, I might get a bit nervous in new situations, but give me a little patience and a lotta love, and I'll warm up to ya quicker than you can say "fuggedaboutit."At around 4 years old, I'm the perfect mix of energetic and cuddly. I love playtime and I'm always up for an adventure, but I also cherish quiet moments and snuggles on the couch. I am a polite walker, and tend to stick to my guardians side. I thrive on companionship and will flourish in a calm, understanding home that can provide me with the stability I crave.Because of my past, I'm not quite sure how I am with other pets or kids, and staff think I would do best as the only dog in the home. I find men very intimidating, and may do best in a household with female guardians. Despite everything, my loyalty and affection know no bounds. I'm eager to find a forever home where I can feel safe, loved, and part of a family. If you've got a big heart and a little extra patience, come meet me and let my charming smile and gentle soul steal your heart. Whaddaya say? Give this guy a chance-you won't regret it! Story
Meet Daphne: Your Very Own Scooby-Doo Companion! Are you ready to add a lovable, snuggly, and enthusiastic companion to your family? Meet Daphne, a delightful and sweet-natured dog who's ready to bring joy and adventure into your life! Daphne is sweet and friendly, a real people-dog who loves to snuggle up with you, offering warmth and comfort after a long day. You'll never come home to an empty greeting-Daphne will always meet you at the door with her favorite toy in her mouth, ready to play. Like her cartoon counterpart, Daphne is always on the lookout for a tasty treat. This makes her a joy to train and an eager learner. After her energetic bursts, she's all about curling up with her human for some cozy time.Daphne prefers to be the only dog in the household as she struggles with anxiety which has lead to reactive behaviour. She will need patient and dedicated owners who can work on her dog reactivity. She settles very well on her own but can become unsettled if she hears or sees another dog. Daphne was a loving momma who has successfully weaned her litter of puppies, all of whom have found their own forever homes. Now it's Daphne's turn to find a family who will love her just as much as she deserves. An active family who enjoys long walks and playtime will be perfect. Due to her size and jumpiness, a home without young children is ideal but she has successfully lived with older children before. Adopt Daphne today! If you're ready to add a fun, loving, and loyal companion to your life, contact us today to meet Daphne. Let's make sure she finds her very own Mystery Machine to ride in and a family to solve life's little mysteries with. 🐾** PLEASE NOTE ** Dog meets and adoptions are by appointment only. To secure an adoption meet, please submit an online application and a staff member will reach out. Primary Color: Black Weight: 45.2 Age: 3yrs 4mths 2wks

Story
Meet Wanda! This girl came to us as a stray, so her history is not known, but she is now ready to find her forever family!Wanda is a shy and fearful dog looking for a loving and patient forever home. We believe that she would thrive best a calm and quiet environment, where she can feel safe and gradually build her confidence. She is also looking for someone who understands her need for a slow introduction to new people and experiences.Wanda is showing more confidence with other dogs around. She would do very well with a buddy dog to live with who can show her what belly rubs, walkies. and treatos are.She is not yet comfortable with loud noises or busy settings, so a household with minimal activity would be ideal. Wanda is also currently working on her leash skills, as we believe that she has not been accustomed to the use of one previously. With time, patience, and gentle encouragement, Wanda has the potential to become a loyal and affectionate companion. She is searching for a family who is committed to providing her with the consistent reassurance and the support she needs to overcome her fears. If you believe that you have space in your home for this sweet girl, please fill out and submit an application online so we can chat a little bit more about her!
