Story
You may notice that Sahkiy is a unique name. We thought so, too. It turns out, the name Sahkiy means, "Independent, Enthusiasm, Admirer." Let's dig deep. Our Sahkiy has a shy side to him at first, earning him that badge of independence. Once he's comfortable, he actually loves the company of new people, even older kids. When Sahkiy opens up, his enthusiasm knows no bounds. He's fun to play with, sweet to sit with, and a sight to behold when he's posing for pictures (he is so photogenic). As far as Sahkiy being an admirer? The cutest thing he does is look back at you to check in repeatedly while he's out on a walk, a reflection of his admiration for you. It's truly endearing, and it fills our hearts with love! Speaking of love... Sahkiy loves his people deeply, and it is indescribably fulfilling to feel that kind of love from a dog. Sahkiy has some delightful quirks, quirks we can't wait to tell you about! If this handsome boy piques your interest, email abrzozowy@potterleague.org, or call to set up a time to meet him at our Animal Care & Adoption Center in Middletown, RI !

Story
Meet Neesha, a dog with a tale that's sure to tickle your funny bone. Once a self-proclaimed 'free spirit,' Neesha's journey to the shelter began when she attempted to join a squirrel yoga class in the park. The squirrels, however, were not so keen on her downward dog. After a hilarious chase involving three squirrels, two pigeons, and a very confused park ranger, Neesha found herself at the shelter. Just kidding! (Or are we?...) Neesha is sweet, friendly, and has a wiggly enthusiasm for life. She loves to give kisses and will gently paw you for attention. With her joyful spirit and love for laughter, Neesha is ready to find a loving home where she can share her zest for life and maybe even find a yoga class that appreciates her unique style. Story
Gwynnie is a beautiful and gentle dog with a heart full of love. While she can be a bit shy in new environments, she blossoms with a patient adopter who understands the importance of taking things slowly. Gwynnie thrives when given the time to adapt to her surroundings and feels most secure when you get down on her level. She may even reward your patience with sweet kisses as she gets to know you. Gwynnie absolutely LOVES squeaky toys, and they are sure to bring out her playful side! Currently, Gwynnie is undergoing treatment for heartworm, but this doesn't diminish her spirit. We are committed to providing her with the necessary care and would love to find her a home where she can feel safe and loved during her treatment. She enjoys the company of some dogs but can be a little hesitant around new canine friends, so slow introductions are key to helping her feel at ease. If you're interested in welcoming Gwynnie into your home, please email abrzozowy@potterleague.com or call us at (401) 846-8276 to learn more about her. You can also visit our website at www.potterleague.org for more information on adopting from us. Give Gwynnie the chance to experience the love and security she deserves-she's ready to find her perfect match!
