Story
Charlie is a sweet and tough girl who loves to hike and cuddle! She is healthy and active for her age and keeps up with 2 year old dogs on hike despite being 10. She is kind to our kitten and has been with her “sister” Newfoundland for the past 7 years. They would love to stay together if possible but ultimately Charlie needs a home where she can hike and share her sweet cuddles. She does counter surf but other than that she is really a great dog! I’m traveling for work 2-3 trips per month and can’t stand to watch her stuck in the house not getting the Colorado adventures she loves!

Story
There's so much to appreciate about a senior dog! They are who they are, they're content with a more relaxed exercise routine, and they lounge well. If that's your speed, too, Daisy may be a perfect fit for you! In her previous home, Daisy demonstrated a natural talent for and successfully completed several rounds of scent work training.Daisy has been described by our volunteers as a great walker who enjoys sauntering and taking in the day. She has a fondness for being petted, especially behind her ears. Just an overall sweetheart!Daisy is affectionate and demonstrative with her friends, and can be a bit curmudgeonly with others, preferring to take her time considering new friendships. Daisy has also only had uncomfortable experiences with neighbor children and would prefer an adult only household. Though Daisy made dog friends when she was younger, at this stage in her life is disinterested and intolerant of the shenanigans of youngsters, so is seeking a home as the only dog. Primary Color: Brown Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 74 Age: 10yrs 11mths 2wks

Story
When he's comfortable, Apollo is such a smiley boy! One of his previous families noted he enjoys long hikes, attention from his favorite people, and playing tug! Additionally, he's previously lived successfully with other dogs and a cat. Because of all of the recent upheaval he's experienced, we anticipate his new family will need to invest in helping him feel safe and secure in a new environment through gentle, patient support.Apollo has been described by our walkers as easy to walk, staying calmly by their side. Sometimes cars driving by may startle him but with calm reassurance from our volunteers he settles down quickly. He enjoys a good back scratch (well ,who doesn't?), bird watching and will sit for hot dogs! For his comfort and because children have been stressful for his previously, Apollo is available for adoption to families with children aged 10 years and older Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 57.8 Age: 3yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
Martha was found as a stray and has really become a favorite of our team, because she's just so enjoyable to be around! Now this girl is ready to join her new family. She may need a little time to come out of her shell when in a new environment, but with a gentle approach and lots of positive reinforcement, Martha is full of potential! When Martha is ready to go for a walk with our volunteers, they tell us that she prefers to set the pace with a slow and steady walk so she can take her time to stop and sniff. As you can see in her photo, she also enjoys the occasional good roll in the grass. She will sit politely for her favorite treat - hot dogs! For her comfort, Martha is available for adoption to families with children aged 10 or older during this stressful transitional time. Come say hi to her today! Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 78.4 Age: 3yrs 1mths 3wks
