Story
Name: Chief Cuddlebug, The Timid Treasure of Tender Moments Breed: German Shepherd Mix Sex: Neutered male Age: 9 Weight: 76 Needs Experienced Adopter Good with dogs? Yes, Chief is good with other gentle, friendly dogs who will be respectful of his boundaries. He may enjoy hanging out quietly at first, then take a nice walk with his new friend. Good with cats? No Good with kids? Yes, Chief could feel safe with calm, peaceful children 12+ who respect and understand his shy nature. Energy level: Low, Chief loves to relax outside, summer or winter! He will lie and soak up the sunshine in a sunny, private yard with a high fence. Medical/Behavioral needs: Chief is a big, fluffy, gloriously handsome boy, but on the inside he feels like a little dog who is timid and shy. He is afraid of most things that are loud, scary and new. He is slowly but steadily blossoming with loving foster care and gradual introductions to other safe animals. Rewards and treats help him open up to show his adorably silly side! He loves chicken and hot dogs and will eagerly push his head into a treat bag for more! Animal Characteristics: Chief is a sweet and sensitive soul looking for a forever home where he can feel safe, protected and loved for just who he is. This good boy needs a patient adopter who can relax alongside him and let him come out of his shell. Chief is immensely deserving of his very own “happily ever after” adoption story.
