Story
Dexter is a sweetheart and likes to cuddle but he doesn’t get along the best with our other animals. We have another dog and three cats and he gets along with the other dog for the most part unless a toy or treat is involved. He gets along well with the cats unless they encroach on his space or what he thinks is his space. He’d most likely do the best in a single pet home. He’s energetic and is scared of strangers at first (barks and walks up to them super cautiously) but warms up to them over time.

Story
Bridget (4) is an energetic but snuggly girl. Her favorite things when playing are balls, water and light. When she’s inside she loves to be on you snuggling up close. She is currently in a home with the following. Kids from ages 5-16 - does well with the kids on a normal basis. Do have to watch when playing as she gets carried away and will try to grab things aggressively. Cats (4 of them) - no issues, she like to chase them to play but stops when you tell her to leave it and has never tried harming them. 2 dogs - one female one male. She is great with our other male terrier but MUST HAVE slow introductions Rehoming due to her sneaking out of the yard and going after other dogs in the neighborhood. We are also a big camping family and she tries going after the other animals.

Story
Meet Miss Faith! She is a rambunctious, smart, sweet puppy. We estimate her to be almost 2 years old. She came to us from a severe neglect case, and was extremely skinny and unsocialized. She has come a long way since she was rescued, but still has a lot of learning to do. She loves her people once she trusts them, but has some insecurities, so slow introductions with people are key. She loves to snuggle, give kisses, and spend time chilling on the couch. She also loves to fetch and go for walks. Essentially, she is a puppy in a 2 year old body, that loves to love but has a lot of world to discover!! By the way she LOVES men, so if you are a guy looking for a new furry companion, she is your girls!!!Faith is curently in a board and train facility in LaCrosse WI (this is where her meet and greet will occur), where they are teaching her to trust new people. She does great with men and will give you a longing look until you decide to come over and say hi. She is slower to meet women, but if you avoid initial eye contact at first, and use her name with treats, she adjusts quickly. She has learned that fellow furry friends are a great thing and LOVES to play! She needs a low energy, confident dog as dogs with aniexty only feed hers. Additionally, we would also recommend a home without young children. She is so powerful, that littles may get knocked over during play time. We think with more training and discipline, she could settle into a home with older kids, but now she just has too much enery behind her love. Ideally, we are looking for a patient, disciplined adopter that can help Faith learn and grow the proper way to associate with her humans and canine friends. We know she can be a champion for her breed, and we want a family that will help her do that. She is a determined, smart, goofy girl that needs boundaries and rules to learn how life works and teach her the tools to be successful! Please at least consider a meeting to see if she is a good fit for you. We think she is truly a diamond in the rough, that deserves to have a loving family! Faith's adoption fee is $475 and will arrive fully vetted, altered, and microchipped. If interested in Faith, please fill out an application at www.newbeganimalrescue.org ##989459##

Story
Penny's a 5yo 80lb lab/hound mix. She is an attention hoarder with a silly personality. She loves walks, treats, jumping in snow, playing with her fav duckie toy, and of course, car rides. She'll lay in bed with you, if you allow it, though she understands when she isn't allowed. She also likes to lick furniture, she even has her own "lick" chair (it's yours if you want it)! She's been around cats almost her entire life (came to us at 2.5mo), and has also been around other dogs (pomeranians and an American Eskimo). We have pet rats, which she has always ignored. She's not a fan of getting wet, and rainy days are the worst (she'll go potty in it, but will wait as long as possible), and she is allergic to ragweed, which gives her a belly rash. She's not a fan of being left home alone for long periods. She wants a lot of attention, but we have a special needs child who needs it more. She deserves to be with someone who can give her the attention that she wants, needs and deserves.

Story
Reba is a very sweet dog. We’ve had her for a few months now. Great with kids, other dogs and cats. She has lots of energy so it would be good to have a fenced area. We got her from a family who moved away and couldn’t take her. We have a black lab and wanted to get him a buddy. Our Lab was injured as a puppy and has issues with hips and legs because of it. They love playing hard. So much that our lab is having issues and needs to be kept more mello. Reba would do very well with another young dog that can keep up with her. She is up to date with shots and is spayed already. We just want to find her a good home.
